Brawl Stars Find Gus Laboratory is the October 5 stage that changes the event from grave and hallway interactions into a multi-step chamber puzzle built around Belle, Piper and a new tool. Players reaching the room after the Entrance and Hallway now have several systems to manage at once: hidden parts, colour mixing, four numbered chambers and generator sequences that do not necessarily match another player’s run. That combination is exactly why a simple screenshot of one finished screen is not enough to understand what the room is asking you to do.
The Find Gus Laboratory also matters because it reaches beyond the room itself. The tool you assemble inside the room remains useful when you return to the earlier Hallway, where it opens two extra reward paths that were not available during the October 3 solution. Before following any exact combination, make sure your first two Mortis’ Mortuary rooms are complete and that the Laboratory has actually unlocked on your account. The route below keeps the story solution, optional Piper Pin and Hallway secrets separate so one missed bonus does not confuse the main progression.

The Find Gus Laboratory route starts by building Belle’s lightgun from three pieces near the right-hand workbench. Tap the small electrical device immediately to the left of the mixing machine, tap the tall coil at the far right, and open the drawer beneath the right-hand bench. Combine the three pieces, then collect the finished lightgun into your inventory. You need it before the colour machine and chamber generators can be used properly.
Next in the Find Gus Laboratory, use the lightgun on the burner below the hanging beaker. The flame turns on and the coloured bottles become useful. Treat the four chambers as numbers 1 to 4 from left to right. Round one uses two-colour mixtures, and each loaded chamber still needs to be zapped with the lightgun after its vial has been placed. If a chamber stays closed, check both parts of that process rather than remaking the mixture immediately.
| Chamber | Round 1 target | Mix |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Orange | Red + Yellow |
| 2 | Green | Yellow + Blue |
| 3 | Purple | Red + Blue |
| 4 | Pink | Red + White |
Once the first four chambers open, move Piper’s head, arms, legs and body onto the large table on the left. Belle then gives you a four-number generator sequence. This part of the Brawl Stars Find Gus Laboratory is randomised, so do not copy somebody else’s order. Count the green generator panels from left to right and use the lightgun in the exact order shown in your own dialogue. Tapping Belle or the table lets you check the sequence again if you forget it.
Get the Piper Pin before finishing the second colour round
After the first Find Gus Laboratory generator sequence, the room changes state and three-colour mixing becomes available. This is the best time to claim the optional Piper Pin because the bonus uses all four chamber slots together. Load Pink in chamber 1 with Red + White, Peach in chamber 2 with Red + Yellow + White, Lavender in chamber 3 with Red + Blue + White, and Navy in chamber 4 with Blue + Black. Do not zap the chambers for this bonus. Leave all four vials loaded at the same time and collect the Pin when it appears beneath the chambers.
The Find Gus Laboratory can look broken here if you try the bonus too early. If the beaker only accepts two ingredients, you have not finished the first Piper assembly and generator sequence yet. Complete that stage first, then return to the bonus combination while the chamber slots are available. The Pin is separate from the main Chaos Drop, so missing it does not mean the room’s story progression has failed.
Finish the second Laboratory colour round
For the main Find Gus Laboratory route, replace the bonus mixtures with the second set shown by the chamber lamps. Round two uses Peach in chamber 1 from Red + Yellow + White, Olive Green in chamber 2 from Yellow + Blue + Black, Lavender in chamber 3 from Red + Blue + White, and Slate in chamber 4 from Blue + White + Black. Fill the carry vial, place it in the correct chamber slot and zap that chamber’s generator with the lightgun. Repeat until all four chambers open again.
| Chamber | Round 2 target | Mix |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Peach | Red + Yellow + White |
| 2 | Olive Green | Yellow + Blue + Black |
| 3 | Lavender | Red + Blue + White |
| 4 | Slate | Blue + White + Black |
Belle then gives you a second randomised generator order. As before, the Find Gus Laboratory does not use one universal four-number code. Follow the numbers shown in your own run. A wrong jolt resets progress through that sequence, so it is quicker to reread the dialogue than to keep guessing. Completing the final order wakes Piper and moves the room into its final dialogue, where the Laboratory Chaos Drop can be claimed.
Return to the Hallway after the Laboratory
Do not discard the lightgun when the Find Gus Laboratory main room is finished. Return to the Hallway because Stage 3 adds new interactions to that older room. Use the lightgun on the wall candle above the radio, set the repaired grandfather clock to 3:00 with the hour hand at 3 and the minute hand at 12, then pull the lit candle. The clock face opens and reveals a Starr Drop. This is different from the 12:00 setting used during the original Hallway story route.
The Find Gus Laboratory lightgun also gives the radio a new use. Zap the already repaired radio with the lightgun, then move the dial to channel 10. The scare that follows removes the closet and exposes another four-colour wall safe. Set the safe to Red at the top left, Yellow at the top right, Purple at the bottom left and White at the bottom right. The reward inside is 100 Power Points. This safe is not the Damian Pin safe under the table, so do not reuse the earlier Purple, Yellow, Green, Red combination.
Brawl Stars Find Gus Laboratory troubleshooting
The most common Find Gus Laboratory stalls are state problems rather than missing items. If the room will not accept three ingredients, finish the first generator sequence. If a chamber stays closed, confirm the correct vial is loaded and then use the lightgun on its generator. If Belle’s numbers appear not to work, make sure you are counting chambers from left to right and using the sequence shown in your own game rather than one from a screenshot or video.
The Find Gus Laboratory Hallway bonuses also depend on earlier progress. The pendulum and radio repair come from Stage 2, while the lightgun comes from Stage 3. A player who jumps straight to 3:00 or channel 10 without those earlier objects in the correct state can get no reaction. Work backward to the last reward you definitely claimed, then finish the missing room step before trying the Find Gus Laboratory follow-up secrets again.
