Brawl Stars Find Gus Locked Chest: How to Open Each Chest

Brawl Stars Find Gus Locked Chest can refer to several different containers across the live Find Gus rooms, and they do not share one solution. The October 1 Entrance has a 100 Gold chest plus a separate right-side box that still has no reproducible key, while the October 3 Hallway has a skull-key safe inside the closet and a colour safe under the radio.

The easiest way to avoid wasting time is to identify the room and container before trying a key. The Hallway skull key is not a delayed solution for the old Entrance chest, and the Damian Pin safe does not use a physical key at all.

Those four containers are the reason ‘the key does not work’ can mean completely different things in Find Gus.

Brawl Stars Find Gus Locked Chest: Entrance left chest

Build the shovel, break the pumpkins and use the early pumpkin key on the left locked chest. Current completed routes award 100 Gold.

Do not save that pumpkin key for the central story door. The main-door key comes later from Gus’s rebuilt grave.

The right-side locked box in the Entrance still has no reproducible current key. Completed Phase 1 routes and known secrets can leave it closed.

Dialogue around the room indicates the required key is not available yet, which fits Supercell’s multi-phase Brawloween structure. Do not invent a combination or repeatedly try the Hallway skull key.

Repair the radio, tune station 5 and use the screwdriver on Damian. The portrait on the right wall falls and reveals a skull-shaped key.

Move the cloth beneath the radio to reveal the optional four-colour safe. Set top-left Purple, top-right Yellow, bottom-left Green and bottom-right Red.

That safe gives the Damian Pin and is optional for Hallway completion.

• Pumpkin key: Entrance left chest only.
• Gus grave key: Entrance central story door.
• Skull key: Hallway closet safe only.
• No physical key: Hallway Damian Pin colour safe.
• No confirmed current key: Entrance right locked box.

Why the skull key does not open the old chest

The skull key is generated by a Hallway-specific radio and portrait sequence and immediately feeds the closet-safe progression to Shade.

Using it as a theory for the Entrance box mixes two different phases and does not match the reproduced Hallway route.

Phase 2 contains two safes close enough together to create confusion. The keyed safe is inside the tall closet and contains cymbals. The colour safe is under the radio and contains the Damian Pin.

What if a chest still will not open

Check whether the room state has actually produced the correct key. A visible locked container does not mean every key in your inventory belongs to it.

For the Hallway, complete the station 5 reaction before looking for the skull key. For the Entrance right box, stop troubleshooting until a later phase supplies a verified solution.

Open the Entrance left chest with the pumpkin key, the Hallway closet safe with the skull key and the Hallway bonus safe with Purple, Yellow, Green and Red. The Entrance right locked box still has no confirmed current key.
