The Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls include 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons simply for logging into the game during the new version. The rewards arrive alongside Version 3.2, Their Secret Histories, which launches on September 9, 2026.
These free rewards give players 10 pulls for the Exclusive Channel and another 10 pulls for the Bangboo Channel. However, it is important to know that the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls do not equal 20 pulls that can all be used on new Agents.
Encrypted Master Tapes and Boopons are used on different Signal Search channels.
How to Get the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Free Pulls
To get the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls, players need to log into Zenless Zone Zero during Version 3.2 and claim the cumulative login rewards.
HoYoverse has confirmed that players can receive:
| Free Reward | Amount | Used For |
|---|---|---|
| Encrypted Master Tape | 10 | Exclusive Agent and W-Engine Signal Searches |
| Boopon | 10 | Bangboo Signal Searches |
The 10 Encrypted Master Tapes are the more valuable reward for players saving for the Version 3.2 Agents because they can be used on limited Signal Searches.
That means the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls can immediately contribute towards attempts to obtain Claret, Roxy or one of the returning S-Rank Agents featured during the update.
Are There 20 Free Agent Pulls in Zenless Zone Zero 3.2?
No. Although Version 3.2 gives players 20 items used for Signal Searches, only 10 of them are Agent pulls.
The reward consists of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.
Encrypted Master Tapes can be spent on Exclusive Agent Signal Searches, including the limited Version 3.2 banners.
Boopons can only be used on the Bangboo Channel.
This means players effectively receive 10 free limited banner pulls and 10 free Bangboo pulls rather than 20 chances to obtain Claret or Roxy.
It is an important distinction when calculating how much Polychrome you may still need for the upcoming banners.
Which Version 3.2 Banners Can You Use the Free Pulls On?
The Encrypted Master Tapes included with the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls can be saved and used on any eligible Exclusive Channel.
Version 3.2 introduces two new S-Rank Agents.
Claret arrives during the first half of the update. She is an S-Rank Electric Agent and the first character to use the new Armorer Specialty.
Nangong Yu also receives a rerun during Phase 1.
The second half introduces Roxy, a new S-Rank Wind Stun Agent, alongside a returning Promeia banner.
Because Encrypted Master Tapes do not expire when a banner ends, there is no requirement to immediately spend your free pulls during Phase 1.
Players interested in Roxy or a future Agent can simply keep them.
Can You Use the Free Pulls for Claret?
Yes. The 10 Encrypted Master Tapes from the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls can be used towards Claret’s limited Signal Search.
Claret becomes available when Version 3.2 launches on September 9 and is the headline new Agent during the first half of the update.
She is particularly notable for introducing the Armorer Specialty, along with new combat mechanics including Gash, Maim and multi-CRIT.
Players already saving Polychrome for Claret can therefore add the 10 free Encrypted Master Tapes to their existing pull total.
Can You Save the Free Pulls for Roxy?
You can also save the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls for Roxy.
Roxy arrives during the second half of Version 3.2 as a new S-Rank Wind Stun Agent.
There is no need to use Encrypted Master Tapes as soon as you receive them, so players who prefer Roxy can hold onto all 10 until her Signal Search becomes available.
The same applies if neither Version 3.2 character interests you. Encrypted Master Tapes remain in your inventory and can be saved for future limited Agents.
What Are Boopons Used For?
Boopons are used exclusively on the Bangboo Channel.
The 10 Boopons included among the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls therefore cannot be converted into Encrypted Master Tapes or used to pull for Agents.
They still provide 10 free Bangboo Signal Searches, allowing players to work towards additional Bangboo without spending another currency.
Bangboo can provide useful additional effects during combat and are an important part of building complete squads, so the extra Boopons are still worth claiming even if your main focus is saving for a new Agent.
When Can You Claim the Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Free Pulls?
The Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 free pulls become available during Version 3.2, which launches on September 9, 2026.
Players will be able to earn a cumulative total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons by logging into Zenless Zone Zero during the version period.
With Claret arriving in Phase 1 and Roxy following in Phase 2, the 10 free Encrypted Master Tapes provide a useful boost towards whichever Version 3.2 banner you decide to target.
Just remember that the additional 10 Boopons are Bangboo pulls rather than Agent pulls, meaning the Version 3.2 reward gives you 10 free limited banner pulls and 10 free Bangboo pulls in total.
