The Angels of Delusion outfit in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3 is a free Halloween reward for finishing every Mission Mode stage in Spooky Funhouse Tales. The actual costume is claimed through Angels Support Operation, so finishing a stage and collecting the reward are two separate actions. The funhouse opens on October 22, 2026, but its three themes unlock in sequence rather than all at once.
Choose a costume for Nangong Yu, Aria or Sunna. If you earned the first two free selections during Version 3.2, this reward completes the collection. The paid Phoenix and Severian outfits in the Version 3.3 shop are separate, and you can claim an Angels costume without owning its Agent.
How to unlock the Angels of Delusion outfit
To earn the Angels of Delusion outfit, reach Inter-Knot Level 20 and complete Main Story Chapter 1 – Intermission. When Spooky Funhouse Tales is available on your server, visit the HIA Club and talk to Patsy to enter the VR event. You do not need to finish the whole new Version 3.3 story first.
- Open Spooky Funhouse Tales and select Mission Mode.
- Complete every stage across the three themed sets as those sets become available.
- Return to the event menu and open Angels Support Operation.
- Claim the completed Version 3.3 limited-time mission, then select an eligible costume.
- Check the relevant Agent’s outfit menu after claiming it.
Mission Mode asks you to devise a scare plan and direct a Trickmobile through the funhouse. The vehicle follows your chosen directions to frighten enemies. New themed stages unlock over time. If you have finished the available stages but the reward still shows as locked, check whether the next theme has opened; it is possible to have cleared everything currently playable without completing the whole event.
Which free Angels of Delusion costume can you choose?
There are three possible Angels of Delusion outfit selections, each belonging to one member of the Angels of Delusion group.
| Character | Costume |
|---|---|
| Nangong Yu | Heartfelt Support |
| Aria | Cuteness Loading |
| Sunna | Delusions in Business |
Each costume can be claimed only once per Proxy. You are not given a random look: Angels Support Operation lets you choose an eligible reward. If you claimed Nangong Yu’s costume during an earlier event, for example, use the new selection for Aria or Sunna instead of expecting a second copy of the same outfit.
Pick a costume for an Agent you already play if you want to equip it straight away. If you collected two outfits during Version 3.2, choose the one you are missing. You can still claim the Angels of Delusion outfit for an Agent you haven’t recruited and use it later.
Does Challenge Mode unlock the Angels of Delusion outfit?
The Angels of Delusion outfit requires all Mission Mode stages, not a particular Challenge Mode score. HoYoverse identifies Challenge Mode as a separate activity unlocked by completing the corresponding missions. There, the objective is to improve your Fright score through further scare-plan attempts.
Clear the missions first if your priority is the free costume. You can experiment with higher scores afterwards. Challenge Mode rewards are separate. Even a high Fright score cannot replace unfinished Mission Mode stages for the costume reward.
How does the third outfit relate to Version 3.2?
Angels Support Operation introduced three limited-time missions spread across Versions 3.2 and 3.3. The earlier rewards came through activities including Surprise Screening Plan and Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight. Version 3.3 adds the Spooky Funhouse Tales mission as the last opportunity in that three-part programme.
This Angels of Delusion outfit selection is one additional costume, not a bundle of all three. Players who already earned two choices can finish the collection; players who missed an earlier mission can still claim the Halloween reward if they qualify, but the new task does not retroactively complete previous missions. Our Version 3.2 free-outfits guide covers those earlier routes, while the 3.3 paid-outfits guide explains the separate Phoenix and Severian cosmetics.
When does the Angels of Delusion outfit reward expire?
Spooky Funhouse Tales begins at 10:00 server time on October 22 and ends at 03:59 server time on November 30, 2026. Angels Support Operation also ends November 30 at 03:59 server time, so the Angels of Delusion outfit must be claimed by then. Check your own server’s countdown before the deadline because the game uses regional server time, not necessarily the time shown on your phone.
Claim the selection in Angels Support Operation before the event expires. Completing the missions without pressing the reward claim button is not enough. Once the reward becomes available, choose your costume and collect it instead of leaving it until the deadline.
Why is my Angels of Delusion outfit still locked?
If the Angels of Delusion outfit is not showing as claimable, open Spooky Funhouse Tales and check which Mission Mode stages remain unfinished. The three themes unlock progressively. Having completed the first theme, or unlocked Challenge Mode for an earlier set, does not necessarily mean you have finished every required mission.
If every Mission Mode stage is finished, return to Angels Support Operation and check for an unclaimed costume selection. The Inter-Knot Level 20 and Chapter 1 – Intermission requirements are needed to enter the event. Owning the Agent is not required to take the outfit; once you’ve recruited them, equip it through their outfit menu.
