The three original Kanto partner Pokémon will appear in Gigantamax Battles during PokéXciting!, giving Trainers another opportunity to battle and catch their Gigantamax forms.

That means Trainers will be able to encounter two very different versions of the Bulbasaur evolutionary family during the event: Party Hat Bulbasaur in the wild and Gigantamax Venusaur through Gigantamax Battles.

The PokéXciting! announcement does not state that Shiny odds will be boosted, so Trainers should not assume increased Shiny rates.
Gigantamax Charizard During PokéXciting
Gigantamax Charizard is the second Pokémon confirmed for Pokémon GO PokéXciting Gigantamax Battles.
Charmander wearing a party hat will also appear more frequently in the wild during PokéXciting!, while Gigantamax Charizard provides another encounter opportunity for the same evolutionary family.

Squirtle wearing a party hat will appear among the PokéXciting! wild encounters, while Gigantamax Blastoise will be available through Gigantamax Battles.

Wild Pokémon include PokéXciting! Pikachu, Party Hat Raticate, Ribbon Jigglypuff, Party Hat Grimer, Party Hat Eevee, Snorlax, Dratini, Ralts, Beldum and Gible.
Lure Modules can attract Pokémon including Party Hat Gengar, Gyarados, Ampharos, Tyranitar, Gardevoir, Altaria and Garchomp.
