Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 fixes problems that could spoil a good session, including bosses resetting during ranged fights, crashes, and certain issues converting older PC saves. The main patch went live on 2 November 2026, with two more hotfixes on 3 and 4 November.

If you’re looking for a fix to a particular problem, the version number matters. Here’s what changed in each build, from boss behaviour and crafting to loading failures.

Three builds make up the Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 series. They don’t fix the same bugs, so check the build number alongside any advice you’re following.

Boss battles in Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1

The boss aggression fix will be especially welcome to ranged players. Before the patch, an enemy such as the Fell Monstrosity could stop fighting and recover health while you were still attacking from a distance. Now bosses stay engaged for longer after taking a hit, even when the player is farther away. That gives ranged players longer to keep a fight going without the boss resetting.

The Wispwyvern and its undead counterpart can now be targeted by totems and other summons. The Dragon Youngling should enter the proper defeated state, and the shielded Ancient Construct has periods when its shield is on cooldown. The Fell Vinebloom’s area poison damage is lower too. Keen also corrected some loot interactions and reduced cases of Fell enemies spawning without loot, while noting more work is planned on that last issue.

Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 wand and crafting changes

If you play a mage, Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 changes how some attacks consume resources. Aerial Wand Attack now costs 40 mana rather than stamina, Wand Evasion Attack costs less mana, and Whirlwind Crescendo consumes less stamina. The patch also closes an animation-cancelling trick that let players fire wands unusually quickly.

Keyboard and mouse players can switch sprint to a toggle. Crab Cakes accept any milk, Goo can unlock from collecting Shroud Mushrooms in Revelwoods, and large farm animal beds accept any wood. The recipe changes are small, but useful when you have ingredients that an older version of the recipe refused.

Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 and PC save migration

Keen fixed several cases that caused save migration to fail and increased the conversion memory budget for worlds containing too many player bases. If you hit a migration error before, the official advice is to try converting the save again with this update installed. Players hosting very large bases also get multiplayer stability improvements.

The PC-specific section of Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 only addresses particular migration failures. A corrupted or missing character is not automatically recoverable just because the update is installed. Other PC repairs address crashes, graphics settings, key combinations and an issue where the Escape key stopped working correctly after using the AMD overlay.

PS5 controls and other platform fixes

On PlayStation 5, the 2 November patch also improved touchpad presses, swipes and pinches in the world map, skill tree and Sparkworks graph editor. It addressed the first-session launch from an invite and a main-activity progress issue that could skip subtasks. The separate 3 November hotfix fixed a crash while searching for dedicated servers.

Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 Sparkworks fixes

One of the most useful building changes is the Sparkworks fix. Props belonging to a Sparkworks setup can no longer be destroyed by player or enemy attacks, but you can still dismantle them deliberately. That means an enemy wandering into your base shouldn’t accidentally destroy a connected trap or door during a fight.

In Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1, the Sparkworks tutorial opens correctly at its workbench, the workbench appears in the Workshops overview, and trigger slider text at 80% size is fixed. Some spawners also stop producing the wrong enemies. Our Sparkworks guide explains the system itself. This change is about Sparkworks-connected props, not every breakable object in a world.

Hotfix 1.0.1.1: sound, water and PS5 crashes

The first follow-up to Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 arrived on 3 November. It restored voice-over volume, stopped multiplayer loot sounds playing for everyone, and fixed voxel wall textures that could look like they were melting. It also corrected a water-simulation crash and an issue that filled log files with repeated errors.

On PS5, hotfix 1.0.1.1 specifically fixed a crash when browsing dedicated servers. This is a dedicated-server browser crash fix, not a general solution for server connection issues.

Hotfix 1.0.1.2: pinned recipes and black screens

Version 1.0.1.2 followed on 4 November and fixed pinned recipes that wouldn’t stay pinned. If your crafting list kept emptying itself, update to this build.

There is also a fix for a rare water crash, a crash when bringing a deprecated item into a world, a crash caused by using a deprecated blueprint, and an uncommon endless black screen while entering certain worlds. The black-screen fix arrived with this 4 November hotfix, not the original 2 November patch.

What if your game is still crashing?

Start by checking the installed build. If a previously failed PC save is the problem, retry its migration on the updated game as Keen advises. If it’s still going wrong, note exactly where it happens: loading a particular world, placing a blueprint, running water simulations or searching for a server. Those details help narrow it down.

Enshrouded has an in-game bug reporting route available with F1. Report continuing problems there rather than assuming they fall under a vaguely similar fix. For problems not covered by these notes, report the exact symptoms rather than assuming an unrelated fix applies.

Enshrouded Patch 1.0.1 focuses on boss AI, crafting, save conversion, building tools and crashes, with the November hotfixes picking up issues reported after the first update. For the enormous October launch additions, see our full 1.0 patch notes instead.
