Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions are split into two choices for existing players and two bundles for people buying the game for the first time. Standard gives you the expansion and 5,000 Moonstones. Deluxe adds more Moonstones, extra cosmetics, Flounder and Sebastian.
If you’re deciding which one to buy before 18 November 2026, the key question is whether you already own the base game and whether you want the Deluxe-only rewards. Here’s exactly what comes with each version.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions compared
There are four Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions available to buy. The first two are expansion purchases for existing owners; the other two bundle the base game with Keepsake Sea content.
| Edition | Who it suits | What you get | Moonstones |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Keepsake Sea expansion | Existing owners | The Keepsake Sea DLC | 5,000 |
| The Keepsake Sea Deluxe Edition | Existing owners wanting bonuses | DLC, Flounder, Sebastian, Merfolk Mansion House Style and Gilded Shell Tops | 10,000 |
| The Keepsake Sea Edition | New players | Base game and Keepsake Sea DLC | 13,000 |
| Ultimate Edition 2026 | New players wanting both expansions | Base game, Wishblossom Ranch and Keepsake Sea Deluxe content | 18,000 |
Moonstones are in-game currency, not the real-money price. The amounts in the table tell you what comes with each purchase. Check your platform store for the price in your own currency.
What does Keepsake Sea Deluxe add?
Deluxe is the one to choose if you want Flounder and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. They’re Adventure Companions rather than Villagers, and each has bonding rewards and a special quest involving Ariel.
The other Deluxe bonuses are a Merfolk Mansion House Style and Gilded Shell Tops. You also get 10,000 Moonstones, compared with 5,000 in standard. None of these bonuses changes the main story’s availability.
Dory from Finding Nemo comes with the regular expansion. You can unlock her by playing through the new adventure, and the five launch Villagers are also part of standard Keepsake Sea.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions for existing players
Already own the base game? Standard is enough for the three islands, the Merfolk transformation, the pirate ship, Dory and the full story. You don’t have to buy the game again.
Choose Deluxe if you want Flounder, Sebastian and the extra cosmetics. If those bonuses don’t interest you, standard covers the actual expansion adventure. The extra Moonstones are useful only if you’ll spend them.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions for new players
The Keepsake Sea Edition includes the base game, the expansion and 13,000 Moonstones. It’s the straightforward option for someone starting Dreamlight Valley for the first time.
Ultimate Edition 2026 bundles the base game, Wishblossom Ranch, Keepsake Sea Deluxe content and 18,000 Moonstones. It covers more content, but you still need to play through the game’s quests to unlock new areas and characters.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions and Apple Arcade
No. Apple Arcade Edition players receive Keepsake Sea content on 18 November without another purchase. Deluxe-only bonuses such as Flounder and Sebastian aren’t listed among the included Arcade rewards.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions and the Villainous Fin
Yes. Purchase and play The Keepsake Sea by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 2 December 2026 to receive the Villainous Fin Merfolk cosmetic through your in-game mailbox.
The Villainous Fin is an early-buyer reward, not a reason to buy Deluxe. Check the different Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea editions against the extras you actually want before spending money.
