Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship arrives with The Keepsake Sea expansion on 18 November 2026. It has a crane for collecting salvage from the water, customisable sails and flag, room for up to four Villager crewmates and a Captain’s Cabin with crafting, cooking and storage.

You’ll earn the ship as you progress through the expansion story. It’s a proper part of your sea adventure rather than a decorative boat you place in your Valley. Here’s what you’ll be able to do with it.

What does the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship do?

Once you get the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship, you can use its crane to recover items from the water, change how it looks and invite up to four Disney Villagers to join your crew.

The ship is introduced through story progression. Details such as specific salvage rewards and upgrade costs are things you’ll find out by playing after 18 November, rather than a materials list to prepare now.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship salvage crane

The crane on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship lets you lift salvage out of the sea. It’s a separate activity from using Merfolk form to dive into fishing ripples and catch fish.

The crane’s exact controls, individual loot items and any upgrade requirements haven’t been published yet. You’ll need the ship unlocked in your new story before you can use this feature.

Can you customise the sails and flag?

Yes. You can change the sails and flag on the ship, so you’re not stuck with its original appearance. The available designs and how to unlock each one will become clear once the expansion is playable.

Ship customisation is part of a bigger set of decorating tools coming with Keepsake Sea. You’ll also be able to decorate underwater spaces and give your character a custom Merfolk appearance.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship crew limit

You can take up to four in-game Villagers aboard the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship as crewmates. That’s four Disney characters from your Valley, not four other human players in a multiplayer crew.

There’s no published list of special crew bonuses or jobs for individual Villagers. You can choose characters to sail with, but don’t assume Captain Jack Sparrow has an extra salvage perk.

What is inside the Captain’s Cabin?

Below deck, the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship has a Captain’s Cabin you can furnish and decorate. It also gives you access to crafting, cooking and storage without heading back to your usual house.

You can make the cabin your own, whether you want a cosy space or a pirate-themed room full of furniture. The announced features cover decorating and those three practical activities, not a separate building or upgrade system.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship Photo Mode

The ship has its own Photo Mode experience, so you can take pictures as part of your voyage. You’ll also find more photography opportunities underwater once you’ve unlocked Merfolk form.

How do you unlock the Pirate Ship?

The ship is unlocked through The Keepsake Sea story. That adventure starts at Dazzle Beach with a mysterious statue and continues across three islands. The precise ship unlock quest will be playable after the expansion launches.

To prepare, make sure you can start the expansion: own it, unlock Ursula and finish the six required base-game story quests. Once you’re in Keepsake Sea, follow the new story to unlock the ship.

The ship, cabin, crane and crew features are part of the regular expansion. You don’t need Deluxe just for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Pirate Ship. Deluxe’s extras are Flounder, Sebastian, cosmetics and more Moonstones.
