Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea release date is Wednesday, 18 November 2026. The paid expansion brings three new island biomes, five Villagers, underwater exploration and a complete story from launch. On most platforms, you’ll need the base game and the new expansion.
Apple Arcade players receive the expansion on 18 November without buying it separately. Here’s what’s included, where you can play and which version you need.

What comes on the Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea release date?
The entire main story arrives on day one rather than in separate chapters. All five Villagers and Dory are available to work towards unlocking from launch, though you’ll still have to play to get them.
The adventure starts with a mysterious statue at Dazzle Beach and a message from an old friend stranded at sea. You’ll awaken four Guardians and explore Shipwreck Shores, Candy Cove and the Kingdom of Oublié, each with its own underwater area.
Five Villagers join the game: Milo Thatch, Captain Jack Sparrow, Megara, Captain Hook and Wendy. Dory from Finding Nemo is a new Adventure Companion included with the expansion. The Deluxe Edition adds Flounder and Sebastian as separate Adventure Companions with their own bonding rewards and a quest involving Ariel.
The expansion also introduces a customisable Merfolk form. You can explore and decorate underwater spaces, swim across surface water elsewhere in the Valley and dive into fishing ripples. The Enchanted Pirate Ship adds a salvage crane, custom sails and flag, a furnished Captain’s Cabin and space to bring up to four in-game Villagers as crew.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea release date: which edition?
For most players, yes. The standard expansion comes with 5,000 Moonstones. Deluxe includes 10,000 Moonstones, exclusive cosmetics and Flounder and Sebastian as Adventure Companions. Moonstones are in-game currency, not the price you’ll pay in pounds.
The Keepsake Sea Edition includes the base game, expansion and 13,000 Moonstones. Ultimate Edition 2026 also includes Wishblossom Ranch and Deluxe Keepsake Sea content, with 18,000 Moonstones. Already own the base game? Look at the expansion-only editions first.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea release date and upcoming events
The Seafaring Star Path runs from 21 October to 2 December 2026, overlapping the Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea release date. Its nautical rewards can be used alongside the new content, but the Star Path and expansion are separate things.
Purchase and play the expansion by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on 2 December to get the Villainous Fin Merfolk cosmetic through your in-game mailbox.
The free update called ‘Ohana Holidays arrives on 9 December with Lilo and a new holiday Star Path. It is separate from the paid Keepsake Sea expansion.
