Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes are Shipwreck Shores, Candy Cove and the Kingdom of Oublié. These three new islands arrive with the paid expansion on 18 November 2026, each with an underwater area to explore and decorate after you progress far enough into the story.
You visit the islands in that order, meeting different Disney characters along the way. Here’s who lives where, what each island looks like and what you’ll be able to do underwater.
All Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes in order
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes are separate destinations in the new story rather than extensions of the original Valley’s map. This is the order in which you’ll discover them.
| Order | New biome | Known Villagers | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Shipwreck Shores | Milo Thatch, Captain Jack Sparrow | Colourful pirate bay |
| 2 | Candy Cove | Megara, Captain Hook | Frosty dessert fantasy |
| 3 | Kingdom of Oublié | Wendy | Forgotten coral and shell kingdom |
All three islands also have underwater spaces you can explore using Merfolk form. You can decorate these areas, not just swim through them.
Shipwreck Shores: the first island
Shipwreck Shores is a colourful pirate bay and your first stop. You’ll meet Milo Thatch from Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean here.
Shipwreck Shores introduces the new islands and their underwater areas. The precise quest and any entry cost have not yet been revealed, so there’s no reliable list of materials to gather before launch.

Candy Cove: a world of desserts
Candy Cove comes next, with frosty dessert scenery and a storybook feel. This is where you’ll find Megara from Hercules and Captain Hook from Peter Pan. There’s also a magical narwhal in the island’s reveal.
Looking for Hook? He’s in Candy Cove, not the pirate bay. Jack Sparrow is the pirate character you’ll encounter back at Shipwreck Shores.
You’ll reach Candy Cove as the expansion story progresses. The exact quests to enter the island and recruit its Villagers will be available once the expansion launches.
Kingdom of Oublié: above and below the sea
The third of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes is the Kingdom of Oublié, a forgotten kingdom filled with coral and shell-inspired scenery. Its world stretches above and below the ocean, and Wendy from Peter Pan appears here.
The Kingdom of Oublié is tied to the mystery of the lost friend and the Keepsake Sea’s past. Reaching it is part of the main adventure, rather than a separate paid add-on.
How to unlock Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes
The story of The Keepsake Sea begins with a strange statue at Dazzle Beach, carrying a message from an old friend who is lost at sea. As the adventure develops, you encounter four Guardians and must awaken them before proving you have a childlike spirit.
You’ll visit Shipwreck Shores first, then Candy Cove and finally the Kingdom of Oublié. The exact access quests and costs haven’t been published ahead of launch, so follow the new story to open the islands.
Can you decorate Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes?
Yes. The Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes have underwater spaces you can personalise with themed architecture kits, decorations and water props. Special platforms let you raise and lower placed items, so you can build at different heights.
Decoration Blueprints return too, including larger furniture pieces to restore. You can interact with Villagers and objects while in Merfolk form, and you can also swim on surface water elsewhere in the Valley and previous expansions.
All Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea biomes arrive on 18 November 2026. The full main story is included from launch, but you’ll still unlock the areas through the adventure.
