Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters include five new Villagers: Milo Thatch, Captain Jack Sparrow, Megara, Captain Hook and Wendy. Dory is included as an Adventure Companion, while Flounder and Sebastian are Deluxe bonuses.
You can start unlocking the five Villagers and Dory when the expansion launches on 18 November 2026. They’ll join through story progression rather than turning up the moment you install the DLC.
All Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters
The five Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters who become Villagers are spread across three new biomes. Here’s the island each character is associated with, in the order you’ll reach them during the story.
| New Villager | Disney film or series | Biome |
|---|---|---|
| Milo Thatch | Atlantis: The Lost Empire | Shipwreck Shores |
| Captain Jack Sparrow | Pirates of the Caribbean | Shipwreck Shores |
| Megara | Hercules | Candy Cove |
| Captain Hook | Peter Pan | Candy Cove |
| Wendy | Peter Pan | Kingdom of Oublié |
These are the five Villagers. Dory, Flounder and Sebastian belong to the Adventure Companion system, so they’re not three additional Villagers.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters in Shipwreck Shores
Shipwreck Shores is the first island, a colourful pirate bay where you’ll meet Milo Thatch from Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. The expansion’s journey starts here before moving to the other two islands.
Milo and Jack are both part of the Shipwreck Shores storyline. Their individual recruitment steps and friendship rewards will become clear when the expansion is playable.

Megara and Captain Hook: Candy Cove
Candy Cove is the second island, a fantasy landscape made from frosty desserts. You’ll meet Megara from Hercules and Captain Hook from Peter Pan here. The island also features a magical narwhal.
For Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters by location, remember that Hook is in Candy Cove. Jack Sparrow is on Shipwreck Shores.
Wendy: Kingdom of Oublié
Wendy from Peter Pan appears in the Kingdom of Oublié, the third island. This forgotten kingdom has coral and shell-inspired scenery stretching above and below the sea, making it one of the places where you can use the new Merfolk form.
Each new island has an underwater area, too. Once you’ve unlocked Merfolk form, you can explore beneath the surface and interact with Villagers and objects in these spaces.
Dory, Flounder and Sebastian: Adventure Companions
Dory from Finding Nemo is included with the standard expansion. She helps find items underwater and accompanies you in a bubble on land. She also has bonding rewards to earn.
Flounder and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid are Deluxe-only Adventure Companions. They have their own bonding rewards and special quests involving Ariel, and can travel with you on land and underwater.
When Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters unlock
The full main story, five Villagers and Dory are available to unlock from 18 November. You’ll need to progress through the adventure to meet them, rather than finding them all in your Valley immediately after buying the expansion.
If you want all eight Disney Dreamlight Valley Keepsake Sea characters and companions, you’ll need Deluxe content. Standard includes the five Villagers and Dory, while Deluxe adds Flounder and Sebastian.
