Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day is on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. This is Mega Clefable’s first appearance in Pokémon GO, with a better chance to encounter Shiny Clefable, up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gyms, and free Timed Research featuring Metagross and a Premium Battle Pass.
You can join the event without buying the US$4.99 ticket. It adds more Raid Passes and rewards for anyone planning a longer session, but you don’t need it to encounter Mega Clefable. There are also some important differences between the advertised free Raid Passes and the resources needed to enter a Super Mega Raid.
Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day: November 28 start times
Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day starts at 2 PM and ends at 5 PM on November 28 in your local time zone. That means 2 to 5 PM GMT in the UK, EST in New York, PST in Los Angeles, JST in Japan and AEDT in Sydney. You don’t need to convert a US event start time to know when your local raids begin.
Mega Clefable is not available yet on November 6. November 28 is its confirmed debut, and the three-hour window is for local raids, not the longer worldwide challenge described below.
Free bonuses for Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day
| November 28 reward | Free | US$4.99 ticket |
|---|---|---|
| Gym Photo Disc Raid Passes | Up to six | Up to fourteen |
| Shiny Clefable chance | Increased after Super Mega Raids | Same event bonus |
| Clefable Mega Level | Level 1 unlocked on raid catches | Same event bonus |
| Rare Candy XL | Standard chance | Increased chance |
| Super Mega Raid XP | Normal rewards | 5,000 extra XP |
| Super Mega Raid Stardust | Normal rewards | 5,000 extra Stardust |
| Timed Research | Premium Battle Pass and Metagross | Same free research |
The ticket raises the number of passes you can collect from spinning Gyms; it doesn’t drop fourteen into your bag at once. There’s also no official percentage for the increased Shiny Clefable chance, and winning a raid never guarantees that you’ll find one.
How to enter Clefable Super Mega Raids
Super Mega Raids have different entry requirements from ordinary raids. Pokémon GO’s Mega Evolution rules allow local entry using Link Charges or a Premium Battle Pass. Remote entry needs both a Remote Raid Pass and Link Charges. The six free Gym Raid Passes announced for the event are not described as replacements for those requirements. Our Super Mega Raids guide explains how entry works.
These aren’t designed as solo battles. A Super Mega Raid boss can raise shields, and each Trainer can break only one shield with a Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Pokémon GO recommends at least eight Trainers working together. You can use its official Map to find possible raid locations and nearby community meetups.
Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day: Shiny chance and Moonblast+
After beating Mega Clefable, you get a chance to catch Clefable, not an already Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Those Clefable encounters will have Mega Level 1 unlocked, saving you the first part of their Mega progression. The event raises Shiny odds, but doesn’t give a confirmed shiny rate or catch CP range.
Mega Clefable gets Moonblast+ as an additional Charged Attack while Mega Evolved. The announced figures are 80 power in Trainer Battles, with a chance to lower the opponent’s Attack by one stage, and 160 power in raids. The attack improves as Clefable’s Mega Level rises.
Super Max takes more work. First, raise Clefable to its third Mega Level, Max; then spend additional Clefable Mega Energy to unlock Super Max. Catching it at Mega Level 1 doesn’t skip that progression. See our Mega Clefable Super Max guide for the upgrade and Moonblast+ details.
When is the Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day Global Challenge?
The worldwide challenge starts on Friday, November 27 at 5 PM PST and ends on Saturday, November 28 at 8 PM PST. In the UK, that’s 1 AM GMT Saturday, November 28 until 4 AM GMT Sunday, November 29. Raid victories worldwide help unlock later Moonblast+ and Super Max CP bonuses.
The extra bonuses are scheduled for November 30 to December 13, depending on which challenge tiers players complete. The special Moonblast+ boost won’t apply in GO Battle League. Our Mega Clefable Global Challenge guide has the full worldwide timetable and explains which rewards need Super Max.
Free Clefable Raid Day Timed Research
The free Timed Research offers a Metagross encounter and a Premium Battle Pass. Pokémon GO hasn’t revealed the individual tasks, so there’s no verified quest list to follow yet. When the event starts, make sure you both complete the research and claim its rewards before the research expires.
The paid Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day ticket is separate from that research. Our Raid Day ticket comparison covers the additional XP, Stardust, passes and Web Store offer. The Mega Evolutions list also shows which Mega forms are already playable.
Should you prepare before November 28?
Before November 28, check the Pokémon GO Map, arrange a group and make sure you’ve got the right entry resources. The Pokémon GO Clefable Super Mega Raid Day itself lasts just three hours where you live, so having enough Trainers ready is far more useful than relying on an unconfirmed counter ranking.
