Blue Archive Event Recap: How Immortalised Event Stories Work

Blue Archive Event Recap gives players a way to return to older event stories after their original limited runs have ended. Selected stories stay available for players who missed their original run. That is great if you want the story, but an archived event is not the same thing as bringing back its old shop, minigames and everything you could once earn.

Sheside outside joined the recap after the October 27, 2026 maintenance, and Basking in the Brilliance of Their Serenade follows on November 3 at 02:00 UTC. First, you need to clear Normal Mission 2-3. Here is what that unlocks, and what stays limited.

Blue Archive Event Recap: what it is and how to unlock it

Blue Archive Event Recap lets you revisit older Event Stories whenever they are in the recap selection. Nexon calls these stories ‘immortalised’ and says it will keep adding more. They are no longer dependent on the original event’s short run.

To unlock Blue Archive Event Recap, complete Normal Mission 2-3. Then open the game’s story or event area and select Event Recap to see which stories are available. Nexon’s notice confirms the unlock requirement but does not specify every tap in the menu, so use the current in-game labels if they differ from older screenshots.

You can clear story stages and earn the rewards offered in the recap. Nexon also warns that some content is restricted. In other words, do not expect an old currency shop or minigame to return just because the story has been added.

Which stories are available in the October and November 2026 update?

Sheside outside is available in Blue Archive Event Recap now. Basking in the Brilliance of Their Serenade opens on November 3. These are additions to the story archive, not fresh timed reruns of the complete events.

What rewards can you still earn?

Blue Archive Event Recap story stages can still award prizes, but Nexon has not listed a full item-by-item reward table for these two additions in the patch notes. Check each stage’s current reward preview to see what you can claim.

This is the biggest difference between Blue Archive Event Recap and a rerun. A rerun can include repeatable Quests, a shop, timed missions and event currency. The recap is built around access to the story. The patch notes do not promise that former event currencies or shops remain available.

The same goes for student rewards. A student obtained during an earlier event is not necessarily available to farm indefinitely. If you are revisiting one story for a particular item, check the rewards for the archived stage rather than relying on the original event guide.

Blue Archive Event Recap versus an active rerun

The current Highlander Railroad Runaway Incident is a useful comparison. Its October 27 rerun is a full event with a defined play period, Quests, Challenges, a railway minigame, reward exchange and a named student unlock. The story itself runs to November 10 at 01:59 UTC, and the event shop remains available into November 17.

Those live-event deadlines do not describe the newly archived Sheside outside story. A Blue Archive Event Recap story is intended to remain accessible regularly; it is the surrounding limited event activities that must not be assumed to last. The menus may look related, but the time-sensitive reward systems are not interchangeable.

Is The Apothecary Wanderings permanent too?

The October 27 update also adds episodes 1 through 6 of The Apothecary Wanderings as a Mini Story. It has an associated limited-time completion Task ending November 10 at 01:59 UTC. This task has its own deadline, so completing the story at some later date should not be treated as a guarantee that the temporary Task reward can still be claimed.

What to play first

If you mainly want to read previously missed story chapters, Blue Archive Event Recap is a good place to start once Mission 2-3 is complete. Sheside outside is already available, and Basking in the Brilliance of Their Serenade joins on November 3. Choose the archived story that interests you and check its stage rewards as you go.

If you are chasing a current limited reward instead, deal with the live event or timed task before it closes. For example, the current Breakthrough Joint Firing Drill ends November 2, the Highlander story concludes November 10, and The Apothecary Wanderings completion task also ends November 10. Those deadlines won’t be extended by the existence of an Event Recap entry.

Nexon plans to add more archived stories in future updates. Blue Archive Event Recap is useful for catching up on Kivotos stories you missed; just check the current stage rewards instead of treating each archived story as a full rerun.
