The Sit Next to Me Pack is a Build/Buy collection that includes:

  • Loveseat
  • Sofa

The furniture features a versatile design that works in:

  • Modern homes
  • Family builds
  • Apartments
  • Starter houses

Because seating is one of the most frequently used categories in Build Mode, this pack offers practical additions that many players will find useful.

Unlike some decorative-only content, these items can easily become part of everyday builds.

Velvet Bow Heels by Miiko

The Velvet Bow Heels are the first Create a Sim item available through the Free Maker Drops program.

Designed by Miiko, these shoes add a stylish new footwear option for feminine-framed Sims.

They work particularly well with:

  • Formal outfits
  • Party wear
  • Date night looks
  • Everyday fashion

Players who enjoy expanding their Create a Sim wardrobe should claim them while they’re available.

Why Are These Marketplace Items Free?

New drops are scheduled every week until July 16.

Current schedule:

Release DateAvailability Ends

June 25July 23
July 2July 30
July 9August 6
July 16August 13

This means players will have multiple opportunities to collect new content throughout the summer.

Are Marketplace Items Better Than Custom Content?

The answer depends on what you’re looking for.

Custom content remains extremely popular because of its huge variety, but Marketplace items offer several advantages.

Benefits include:

  • Official support
  • Quality testing
  • Translation support
  • Easier installation
  • No need to manually manage files

Players who are tired of troubleshooting broken mods may appreciate Marketplace content for this reason.

If you’ve recently dealt with issues such as The Sims 4 Mods Broken, Sims 4 Wicked Whims Broken or How to Fix Broken Mods in Sims 4, officially supported content can be an attractive alternative.

Should You Claim Free Marketplace Items Even If You Won’t Use Them?

Yes.

Since the items cost nothing, there is very little downside to claiming them.

Even if you don’t use them immediately, they may become useful for future:

  • Builds
  • Households
  • Outfit designs
  • Storytelling saves

Limited-time content often becomes more valuable once the claim period ends.

Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items Summary
