The Simblreen CC Folder most players need is Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. That is the user-folder location EA gives for custom content on PC and Mac, and it is where ordinary .package files from a Simblreen treat should be placed after you extract the download.
A Simblreen CC Folder question becomes slightly more complicated when the gift is a downloaded Sim, room or lot. Those creations can contain Tray files that do not belong in Mods at all, while any custom hair, clothing, furniture or other .package dependencies still go into the Mods folder.

For package-based treats, the Simblreen CC Folder path is Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. EA says this is the folder the game uses for Mods and Custom Content. If you are looking inside Program Files, SteamApps or the EA app installation folder, you are in the wrong place.
Extract ZIP and RAR files before moving them
Do not use a compressed archive as the Simblreen CC Folder. EA instructs players to unzip .zip or .rar downloads first. Open the archive, extract its contents, and then move the actual package or script files into the correct user folder.
Use the organiser rules as the baseline, then read the individual creator post before acting. Simblreen is intentionally flexible, so the creator’s current schedule and contact instructions are the final word for that particular porch.
Use the Tray folder for Sims and lots
The Simblreen CC Folder is not where every file belongs. Downloaded households, rooms and lots can include .trayitem, .bpi, .hhi, .sgi, .blueprint or .householdbinary files. Those go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray, while any accompanying CC packages remain in Mods.
Do not create a second Mods folder inside Mods
A common Simblreen CC Folder mistake is extracting a creator’s entire folder structure and ending up with Mods > Mods > files. The game expects the real content inside its existing Mods directory. Keep your organisation simple and check that package files are not buried inside an accidental duplicate folder.
Make sure you are using the active Documents folder
If the Simblreen CC Folder looks correct but nothing appears, check whether cloud syncing has created another Electronic Arts folder. The active Sims 4 user folder is the one the game is currently reading. Your saves, Mods and Tray content should all line up in that same active location.
Keep the original download and creator page until you have tested everything in game. That gives you a clean copy to return to if a file is moved to the wrong folder, a dependency is missing, or the creator publishes an updated version later.
Enable custom content after copying the files
Putting files in the Simblreen CC Folder is only part of the setup. In The Sims 4, open Game Options > Other and enable Custom Content and Mods, then restart. EA notes that the setting may be disabled after an update, so recheck it if a previously working collection suddenly disappears.
Keep creator names in your folder structure
A tidy Simblreen CC Folder makes post-event troubleshooting much easier. Consider a Simblreen 2026 folder with creator subfolders for ordinary package CC. If you later discover a broken item, missing mesh or updated version, you can trace the file back to the original creator instead of searching through thousands of anonymous packages.
The Simblreen CC Folder is the Mods directory for ordinary package CC, but not for every file a creator can send you. Extract the download first, separate Tray data from package content, enable CC in the game, and keep the creator name attached to the files so you can troubleshoot them later.
Before making large changes to the Mods or Tray folders, copy the important Sims 4 user folders somewhere safe. A backup is especially useful after an event where you may have installed many new files from different creators in a short period.
Install a few new treats at a time when possible. If twenty new downloads go into the game at once and something breaks, you have twenty possible causes. Smaller batches make it much easier to identify which file, mesh or dependency needs attention.
