Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes cover the October 15 mid-season update to Operation Split Fire. Noor’s Horus Lance receives a major buff, Tachanka gains an impact-detonation mode, Valkyrie gets the Glaive-12 secondary, and Solid Snake’s radar loses one precision charge.
Capitão’s fire spreads faster, Clash slows retreating enemies more strongly and Osa can deploy her shield in tighter spaces. Fire damage rises from 12 to 14, while Barbed Wire now traps and destroys Ram’s BU-GIs.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes: Noor changes

| Noor Horus Lance change | Y11S3.2 value |
|---|---|
| Drilling time on shields, soft surfaces and solid non-destructible surfaces | 1.5 seconds, down from 2 |
| Guard Break strength on ballistic shields | 100%, up from 30% |
| Equip animation | 0.4 seconds, down from 0.9 |
| Direct impact damage against Operators | 80, up from 50 |
| Projectile hitbox | Updated for better accuracy and consistency |
| Shield removal animation | Horus Lance can now damage ballistic shield Operators during removal |
The Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes make Noor’s launcher quicker to equip and drill with, while a direct shield impact now applies 100% guard-break strength. For the precise timings, damage and shield interactions, read our Noor Horus Lance buff guide.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes: Tachanka’s firing modes
Tachanka can now switch the Shumikha Launcher between Impact Mode and Bounce Mode. Impact Mode is the default and detonates an Incendiary Grenade when it hits a surface.
Bounce Mode lets the grenade pass through fragile objects such as glass or paper. Once it hits a solid surface, the fire is directed towards the floor from the impact point. It gives Tachanka a choice between immediate detonation and firing through light obstructions.
Solid Snake, Valkyrie, Capitão, Clash and Osa changes
| Operator | Y11S3.2 change |
|---|---|
| Solid Snake | Soliton Radar MK III Precision Mode charges reduced from 4 to 3 |
| Valkyrie | Glaive-12 added as a secondary weapon |
| Capitão | Fire Bolt expansion delay reduced from 1s to 0.9s |
| Clash | Retreat slowdown increased from 5% to 10% |
| Osa | Reduced frontal, vertical and rear space needed to deploy Talon-8 |
Osa’s Talon-8 can now fit in tighter spots. Ubisoft reduced the required room in front to 0.25m from 1.1m, above it to 0.6m from 6.25m and behind the player to 0.005m from 0.3m. Those are deployment changes, not a durability buff.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes: fire damage increase
The Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes increase fire damage from 12 HP to 14 HP. Ubisoft lists Capitão, Dokkaebi, Goyo, Noor, Tachanka and Gas Pipes among the affected sources.
That affects all the fire sources Ubisoft lists, including Gas Pipes, rather than a single Operator’s gadget.
Barbed Wire now stops BU-GIs
BU-GIs now become entangled when they hit Barbed Wire, stop completely and self-destruct. That gives defenders a direct environmental counter instead of letting the device continue through the wire.
Ubisoft also fixed defenders losing score for destroying their own Barbed Wire.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 bug fixes

| Osa | Talon-8 right button changing from ON to OFF after deployment |
| UI | Locker navigation failing when selecting the area above OPEN NOW |
| Newcomer | Recruit Rewards pop-up requiring a reboot to appear |

When did Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 go live?
Ubisoft published the Y11S3.2 patch notes on October 13, 2026, and the mid-season update launched on October 15. It is a normal balancing update, not a limited-time Doktor’s Curse playlist. Players who return after Halloween still use the updated Noor timings and other patch changes.
The Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.2 Patch Notes also include smaller changes that are easy to miss: Solid Snake has one fewer radar precision charge, Clash’s retreat slow is stronger and Noor’s reticle now respects the opacity setting.
What are the biggest Y11S3.2 changes?
Noor’s faster launcher and Tachanka’s new firing mode are the headline changes. Both alter how quickly a player can react to an enemy or place fire where it’s needed.
Valkyrie’s Glaive-12 adds a secondary weapon option, and Barbed Wire now provides a simple way to stop an approaching BU-GI.
