RACCOIN demo is free to download on Nintendo Switch 2 from the Nintendo eShop. It arrived after Nintendo’s 28 October Indie World presentation, ahead of Chaos Max Edition’s 10 November 2026 UK release.
You only need a Nintendo Switch 2, a Nintendo Account, an internet connection and space for the download. The trial is separate from buying the upcoming full game, so there’s no need to preorder just to see how the coin-pushing mechanics feel.
How to download the RACCOIN demo on Switch 2

- Open Nintendo eShop from the Switch 2 HOME Menu.
- Choose your Nintendo Account and search for RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition.
- Open the Nintendo Switch 2 game listing and select its demo download option.
- Confirm the free download and let your console finish installing it.
- Start the installed trial from the HOME Menu.
Search for RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition in Nintendo eShop and open its Switch 2 listing. Choose the available demo rather than the paid game. The Nintendo UK store marks this version Demo available.
Once the RACCOIN demo finishes installing, launch it from the HOME Menu. You can try the coin-pusher mechanics and decide whether the full game’s scoring and deckbuilding appeal to you.
Is the RACCOIN demo completely free?
Yes. The demo is a free trial supplied through Nintendo eShop. You can download and launch it without paying for the complete game or subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online. You’ll still need the normal Nintendo Account and internet connection used for eShop downloads.
The complete Switch 2 game is single-player, with one player per system. Nintendo gives it a UK PEGI 18 rating for prominent gambling imagery.
RACCOIN is built around a solo arcade cabinet where coins trigger effects, items boost scoring and runs can develop in different directions. It’s not presented as a local or online multiplayer competition.
Which coin effects can you expect from RACCOIN?

RACCOIN plays like an arcade coin pusher with roguelike deckbuilding. As the cabinet fills, coins and items interact. The publisher’s examples include pairing Seed and Water Coins to grow a money tree and dropping Cat Coins to chase Rat Coins for extra tickets.
Nintendo calls the score-boosting effect Multiply Coin and the explosive effect Nuclear Coin in its Chaos Max Edition listing. Playstack’s original PC description calls similar effects MultiCoin and TNT Coin, so keep those names tied to the version being described.
Our RACCOIN coin combos guide explains the revealed effects. Try the available coins and items in the trial to see how the combinations work for yourself.
Does the RACCOIN demo use Joy-Con 2 mouse controls?
Nintendo confirms Joy-Con 2 mouse control and an exclusive arcade cabinet appearance for Chaos Max Edition. The full Switch 2 listing also mentions touchscreen features and support for TV, tabletop and handheld modes.
Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and touchscreen support are advertised for the full Chaos Max Edition. When you open the RACCOIN demo, use the on-screen prompts for the controls available in that build.
How big is the RACCOIN demo download?
The 847 MB size shown by Nintendo UK is the listed download size for the full Chaos Max Edition. It is not an independently confirmed demo file size. Check the space requested on your console’s download screen, especially if internal storage is nearly full.
If the download stalls, check your connection, free storage, selected eShop region and download status on the HOME Menu before trying again.
Will RACCOIN demo progress carry over at launch?
The current Switch 2 listing does not promise demo-to-full-game progress transfer. The RACCOIN demo is a chance to explore the coin pusher before purchase; the full game launches separately in November.
Our Chaos Max Edition release guide covers the November date and console extras. The RACCOIN demo is available now, so you can see whether the coin-pushing loop suits you before spending money.
