Pixel Gun 2 Weapons are built around a three-slot loadout: Primary, Backup and Melee. Rather than carrying a huge row of guns into every battle, players are expected to make the three choices work together with a character, gadget, armor and Ability Card deck.
How Many Pixel Gun 2 Weapons Can You Equip?
You equip three Pixel Gun 2 Weapons at a time. The Primary is normally the main source of damage, the Backup covers weaknesses or finishes targets, and the Melee weapon handles close-range fights.
That structure makes range coverage important. A sniper-heavy setup can dominate open sightlines but struggle when the fight moves into narrow rooms, while shotguns and area-damage weapons become more useful in tight spaces.
| Weapon slot | Main role |
|---|---|
| Primary | Main source of sustained damage |
| Backup | Covers weak ranges or finishes damaged enemies |
| Melee | Close-range combat and fast attacks |
What Stats Do Pixel Gun 2 Weapons Have?

A weapon can display damage, accuracy, spray angle, fire rate, move speed, destruction, radius, range, ammo, attack speed, Power and category. Not every stat applies to every weapon type.
Destruction is particularly important because Pixel Gun 2 maps can be damaged during a match. A weapon that is less impressive against players may still create tactical value by breaking cover, opening routes or exposing someone holding a strong position.
What Do Weapon Rarities Mean?
Pixel Gun 2 Weapons come in Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic rarities. Rarity changes how many Special Property slots an item can carry and how strong those properties can be.
| Rarity | Special Property slots |
|---|---|
| Common | None |
| Rare | 1 |
| Epic | 2 |
| Legendary | 2 stronger-property slots |
| Mythic | 3 |
A higher rarity can therefore create a more specialised item, but the best gun for a build still depends on its base stats, range and how its properties interact with the rest of the loadout.
What Are Special Properties?

Special Properties are passive effects attached to equipment. They work automatically when the item is equipped and can improve damage, movement, survivability, resource control or other parts of a build.
The system means two versions of the same base weapon can feel different. One drop may suit an aggressive speed build, while another can better support healing, destruction or a safer ranged setup.
Can You Upgrade Pixel Gun 2 Weapons?
By default, weapons are not upgraded through a simple permanent level button. Instead, players can receive new versions of the same base weapon with different stats, rarity and Special Properties.
That makes inventory comparison important. A duplicate is not automatically useless, and a newer version should be checked before the older one is sold.
How Do You Get New Weapons?
Pixel Gun 2 Weapons can come from Progress Road, tasks, match loot, the Shop and events. The global launch also adds seven new weapons as part of the first Season 1 build.
Progress Road can unlock new item rarities as the account advances. Once a higher rarity becomes available, items of that rarity can start appearing in battle chests.
Can You Sell Weapons?
Yes. Unwanted equipment can be sold from the Armory to make space, but sold weapons cannot be recovered. Because two copies can have different stats or properties, compare them closely before clearing duplicates.
How Should You Build a Weapon Loadout?
Start by giving every slot a purpose. Choose a Primary that feels comfortable in the range where you spend most fights, then make the Backup solve a different problem rather than copying the same weakness.
A Primary built for medium range pairs well with a Backup that either extends your reach or delivers fast close-range finishing damage. The Melee slot then becomes the emergency option when an enemy closes the distance or ammunition becomes awkward.
Do Gadgets Replace a Fourth Weapon?
No. Gadgets sit beside the three Pixel Gun 2 Weapons and must be activated manually. You can equip one gadget, with examples including Grenade, Mine, Shurikens, X-Ray Glasses and Stealth Bracelet.
A gadget can deal damage, reveal enemies, create area control, improve survival or damage the environment. Treat it as the utility part of the loadout rather than another conventional gun.
How Do Ability Cards Affect Weapons?
Ability Cards can strengthen damage, survivability, movement, gadget use and destruction during a match. The default deck contains eight slots, and active play earns in-match levels that let you turn cards on as the battle develops.
This makes Pixel Gun 2 Weapons only one layer of the build. The strongest setup is the one where weapon range, gadget, armor, character perks and Ability Cards reinforce the same plan without leaving a huge weakness elsewhere.
