Nintendo released demos for Haunted Paws, Petal Runner, RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition and Winds of Viridia alongside the show. Haunted Paws stars two puppies on a spooky adventure, Petal Runner is a colourful pixel RPG, RACCOIN uses coin-pushing roguelike mechanics and Winds of Viridia is an action adventure.
A demo lets you try a preview, not keep the entire finished game free. Check the eShop on your own console for its supported platform, because the showcase announced titles for both Switch generations but not every game supports both.

New co-op games from Nintendo Indie World October 2026
Dumpster Gang offers raccoon heists for up to four online players, plus local and online GameShare via GameChat. R.E.P.O. is a physics-based online co-op horror game, where teams carry valuables through haunted procedural environments and attempt to extract them.
Super Battle Golf is competitive instead. Up to eight golfers play simultaneously, using weapons and power-ups to interfere with rivals, and Nintendo confirms online cross-platform play. These games don’t automatically share the same party size or GameShare options.

Tenjutsu is a martial-arts roguelike about bringing down four crime syndicates. City of None is an action-puzzle platformer from Noel and Liam Berry, with five distinct city sectors. Threads of Time is a turn-based RPG connecting heroes from different periods of history.
Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino follows a fox girl and frog companion through a folklore-inspired island. My Arms Are Longer Now is an absurd heist comedy about reaching through obstacles with one flexible arm. Nintendo has named launch windows for each without providing a complete walkthrough.
