Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges: New Goals and Scythe Fix

Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges changed with the October 27 Tower Farm Terror update. IllFonic adjusted requirements for Civilians, Michael Myers variants and weapons, then fixed a bug preventing access to the new Scythe challenge on October 28.

The October 27 notes specify the current targets. Check the character or weapon, then use the action and number in the table rather than an outdated video.

Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges Explained

Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges

Progressive Challenges belong to particular characters, Michael appearances and weapon collections. They unlock rewards in sequence and include rescues, executions, disabled objects and survival conditions.

Exact wording matters. A requirement to execute all four Civilians in one match cannot be satisfied by four ordinary kills across different matches. Always read the live objective and check you’re using the right character or weapon.

The table includes changed requirements from Patch 1.2.0. Find your character or weapon, then complete the named challenge according to the third column.

For Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges, the character and weapon category determines which actions count. For example, Stitched Michael has to destroy fifty locked doors for Unstoppable Breach, whereas Wood-Axe’s Brute Force Entry asks for seventy-five.

How to Access the New Scythe Challenges

The new Scythe Starting Weapon is earned by completing a Scythe Progressive Challenge chain. Some players couldn’t access it after Tower Farm launched. IllFonic fixed that access problem in Hotfix 1.2.1 on October 28.

  1. Install the hotfix and restart the game completely.
  2. Open Michael’s Weapon Progressive Challenges.
  3. Find the Scythe collection and follow its displayed objectives.
  4. After completion, check the Starting Weapon selection.

The Scythe has its own new collection. Our Scythe Challenge Not Unlocking guide explains the hotfix that restores access.

Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges Not Tracking

If a challenge doesn’t count, confirm the objective text, equipped weapon, game build and action performed. October 27 changed many targets, while an earlier 1.1.0 patch repaired some tracking faults and Passive Challenge behaviour after Prestiging.

If an eligible action doesn’t count, record the objective, equipped weapon and counter before and after the match. Don’t reset Prestige or delete saved progress for a tracking issue.

Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges vs Prestige

Progressive, Passive and Prestige Challenges are different systems. Michael’s new Scythe unlock uses Progressive Challenges; the paid Halloween 5 skin provides a separate instant Scythe unlock. Weapon levels and cosmetic rewards may have their own conditions.

Our Starting Weapons guide covers Michael’s loadout and the Scythe. Halloween The Game Progressive Challenges gives you the updated requirements needed for current challenges.
