Genshin Impact Leaks: Kusanali might be the ultimate EM buffer in the game

Kusanali (AKA Nahida) in Genshin Impact had some details about her skills hinted in a previous leak. But while the previous leak focused mostly on her skill animations, newer crumbs on her kit suggest she will become the ultimate EM buffer in the game.

With her supposed ability to significantly increase the team’s Elemental Mastery (EM), the Dendro Archon will make a great support unit for Dendro Elemental Reactions to deal incredible damage.

Assuming this is true, placing Kusanali in a team consisting of the previously released Archons (i.e., Venti, Zhongli, and the Raiden Shogun) would be viable. That is if players want to take advantage of Catalyze reactions, specifically Aggravate, with the Raiden Shogun as the Main DPS.

Leaker calls Kusanali the “Ultimate EM buffer”

The information was posted by user Uncle J on Twitter. Since the tweet is in Chinese, this has been translated and reposted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit.

According to the translation, Uncle J said that Kusanali can provide a lot of Elemental Mastery for the active character/s, calling her the “Ultimate EM buffer.” Moreover, her BiS weapon increases ATK based on EM whenever Elemental Reactions are triggered. The leaker also comments about her Constellations, noting that she’s purely a support character at C0 but can be a Spread carry at C6.

“Ultimate EM buffer, gives on-field character tons of EM. BIS weapon increases ATK based on EM every time a reaction is triggered.

Pure off-field support at C0, you could call her the specialized reaction support. Prepare EM/EM/EM on the EM set.

C1 resolves ER issues, C2 makes her a subdps, C4 increases support capabilities, C6 makes her a Spread carry.

Since Kazuha and Dendro can coexist, she and Kazuha are both necessary for Aggravate Cyno.”

While having the Dendro Archon as the “ultimate EM buffer” is exciting, the subreddit’s moderator, Bobson567, reminds fans that this leak is “highly sus,” saying:

“Note that this leak is very sus. uncle j reposts leaks from NGA and kr forums. for example they posted the upcoming banner lineup that Lu shared on NGA but didn’t credit Lu. For now, this leak is uncredited so still take it as highly sus!”

Kusanali is presumed to become available in Version 3.2 (November 2, 2022) together with another new character named Layla.

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
