Genshin Impact: Best Teams for Nahida

Nahida, the fourth Archon character in Genshin Impact is finally here, allowing us to experiment with new teams and rotations. While there are a lot of possible team compositions, we have listed some of the best teams for Nahida in this article.

This article will discuss which roles Nahida can take in each team and which characters work well with her. Of course, while the recommendations you’ll find are some of the best teams for Nahida, you have the freedom to use whichever character you like. These are simply recommendations to bring out the best of the Dendro Archon.

While Nahida has some supportive capabilities, her kit is focused on dealing damage on-field and off-field, making her viable as a Main DPS or Sub-DPS. With these roles, below are some of the best teams for Nahida that we came up with.

Best Teams for Nahida as a Main DPS

Below are the best teams for Nahida if you’re planning to use her as a Main DPS unit:

BLOOM TEAM WITH NILOU (Bountiful Cores)

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	HEALER/SUPPORT
Nahida	Nilou	Yelan or Xingqiu	Kokomi or Barbara

As you must already know, Nilou has a niche ascension passive that works only if the team consists of Hydro and Dendro units. Nahida can utilize this passive and trigger Bloom to produce Bountiful Cores. Moreover, Nahida can take advantage of the EM boost that Nilou provides.

However, since the explosion of several Bountiful Cores can be fatal to Nahida (a character that doesn’t benefit from having more HP), it is a must to have a Hydro healer such as Kokomi or Barbara. There are currently no Hydro shielders, so these two are your only options if you wish to activate Nilou’s Dendro-Hydro-only passive.

Lastly, you will need another Hydro Sub-DPS that deals off-field Hydro DMG. Yelan is arguably the best fit for this role, but you may also use Xingqiu.

HYPERBLOOM TEAM

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	HEALER/SUPPORT
Nahida	Yelan or Xingqiu	Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu	Kokomi or Barbara

Nahida is incredible at producing Dendro Cores when paired with a Hydro unit. With these explosive cores on the field, you have the option to take it up a notch by having an off-field Electro character who can periodically hit these cores and trigger Hyperbloom. The best Electro units for this task are the Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu.

Of course, you will need off-field Hydro characters to trigger Bloom, and the best for this is either Yelan or Xingqiu. For healing, you can have Kokomi or Barbara.

BURGEON TEAM

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	HEALER/SUPPORT
Nahida	Yelan or Xingqiu	Thoma	Kokomi or Barbara

The mechanic for this team is similar to the Hyperbloom Team. Again, you will need to produce Dendro cores with Nahida and a Hydro unit such as Yelan or Xingqiu. However, instead of hitting Dendro Cores with Electro, you will need to hit them with a Pyro attack to cause an AoE explosion.

For the Burgeon Team, Thoma is arguably the most suitable Pyro unit since he has a combination of a decent shield and off-field Pyro application.

CATALYZE OR QUICKEN TEAM

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	SUPPORT
Nahida	Raiden Shogun or Fischl	Yae Miko, Beidou, or Shinobu (if you need a healer)	Jean (also acts as healer) or Kazuha

The Catalyze reaction can be the basis for creating some of the best teams for Nahida. This reaction consists of those that are triggered by the Dendro and Electro elements. These include the initial reaction called Quicken, followed by either Spread or Aggravate, depending on what element hits the enemy next.

Having off-field Electro units for this team is necessary. These include the likes of the Raiden Shogun, Fischl, Yae Miko, Beidou, and Shinobu. For support, you can have Kazuha or Jean.

Best Teams for Nahida as a Sub-DPS

Below are the best teams for Nahida if you’re planning to use her as a Sub-DPS unit:

CATALYZE OR QUICKEN TEAM (Focus on Aggravate)

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	SUPPORT
Cyno or the Raiden Shogun	Nahida	Fischl, Yae Miko or Dori (if you need a healer)	Zhongli or Kazuha

This Catalyze Team focuses on the Aggravate Elemental Reaction. If you want to play Cyno as your Main DPS, having the Dendro Archon as the off-field Dendro unit is one of her best roles, making this one of the best teams for Nahida.

Of course, you may use the Electro Archon (or, more appropriately, Ei’s puppet) Raiden Shogun as the Main DPS if you don’t have Cyno.

HYPERBLOOM TEAM

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	SUPPORT
Ayato or Kokomi	Nahida	Raiden Shogun or Shinobu	Zhongli

Nahida’s role in this team is to deal off-field Dendro DMG while the Hydro Main DPS triggers Bloom. The Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu will then periodically deal off-field Electro DMG to trigger Hyperbloom. To protect yourself from Bloom’s explosion, you will need a shielder like Zhongli.

BURGEON TEAM

MAIN DPS	SUB-DPS	SUB-DPS	SUPPORT
Ayato or Kokomi	Nahida	Thoma	Zhongli

In this Burgeon Team, Nahida will focus on applying the Dendro aura to enemies while off-field and have the Hydro Main DPS trigger Bloom. Just like the Burgeon Team in the previous section, Thoma will be the one to trigger Burgeon. Of course, you need a healer and/or shielder (Thoma is one) to protect you from Burgeon’s explosions.

These are just some of the best teams for Nahida. She is quite a flexible character and can deal massive damage on-field or off-field as a Main DPS or Sub-DPS, living up to her status as an Archon character. She can also provide an EM buff with her 1st Ascension Passive! But, of course, you’ll have to place her in a team that synchronizes well with Dendro.
