Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero: Bang and Pow Perks, Build and Unlock

Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero is a Mythic Soldier who boosts Lefty and Righty damage with Bang and Pow. Put him in the Commander slot and the ability also causes small Energy explosions. Raven returned through Bladey Acres in October 2026, but the questline’s October 28 deadline has passed.

Raven is at his best when you’re using Lefty and Righty against a crowd of Husks. If you already have him, the next question is how to build around his explosions. If you missed the event, start with the Collection Book before spending a voucher.

How to unlock the Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero

Epic brought Raven back through Bladey Acres in update v42.30. Finishing the seasonal questline, which followed Ray and Raven at a summer camp, rewarded you with the Mythic Soldier. He’s part of the Blockbuster Heroes set, not a Battle Royale skin unlock.

Bladey Acres ended on October 28, 2026. If you completed the quests before the deadline, Raven should be in your Heroes collection. If you missed them, the October questline is no longer a way to obtain him.

If you missed Bladey Acres, open the Collection Book, find Raven in Blockbuster Heroes and select him to inspect the Recruit option. Check the materials or voucher shown on your own screen before doing anything. The October patch notes don’t establish that Raven is currently recruitable with a Hero Recruitment Voucher.

Hero Recruitment Vouchers are permanent choices. Epic Support can’t undo or refund one after you’ve spent it. That’s why the in-game Recruit option matters more than assuming an old hero is always voucher-eligible.

Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero Bang and Pow perks

The Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero has two versions of Bang and Pow. Which one you get depends on Raven’s position in the Hero Loadout:

Those 25% increases do not stack into 50%. Bang and Pow+ replaces the Standard version when Raven is Commander. What you gain is the explosion effect, dealing 20 base Energy damage within a half-tile radius. That’s the perk that makes him appealing against tightly grouped Husks.

Best Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero loadout

For an explosion-focused build, put Raven in the Commander slot and use support heroes to get more out of Lefty and Righty. The v42.40 changes make Double Agent Evelynn and Noir especially useful:

• Double Agent Evelynn: Where’s Lefty now cuts Lefty and Righty’s cooldown by 30% in Support. As Commander, her own perk gives a 66% reduction.
• Noir: Pump Metal adds 5 seconds to Lefty and Righty’s duration in Support, or 20 seconds as Commander.
• Grave Feather: Ghoulslinger adds 15 Critical Rating for Lefty and Righty in Support. His Commander perk increases that to 45, with a 40% chance on a critical hit to create an Energy Phantasm.

A simple Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero loadout starts with Raven in Commander and Evelynn and Noir in Support. The pairing reduces the cooldown and extends each activation, giving you more chances to use Raven’s explosions. Add Grave Feather in another support slot if you own him and want the Critical Rating bonus. You still have two support slots and a Team Perk to personalise.

Raven Commander or Grave Feather Commander?

The choice comes down to splash damage versus critical hits. Raven brings the Energy explosions with Bang and Pow+. Grave Feather’s Ghoulslinger+ gives 45 Critical Rating and a 40% chance on a critical hit to summon a Phantasm. With Grave Feather in Commander, you can still put Raven in Support for the regular 25% damage increase, but you lose Raven’s explosions.

Choose Raven when you want to damage enemies standing close together. Choose Grave Feather when you’d rather build around critical hits and Phantasms. Both can make good use of Lefty and Righty; they simply bring different strengths to the same ability.

How to equip the Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero

Open Hero Loadout in Save the World. There’s one Commander slot, five Support slots and one Team Perk. Your Commander uses their enhanced perk; support heroes contribute their Standard perks. Put Raven in the Commander slot to activate Bang and Pow+.

If the explosions aren’t appearing, check two things first: is Raven your Commander, and are you using Lefty and Righty? Bang and Pow doesn’t turn your ordinary equipped pistols into explosive weapons. In Support, Raven only supplies the 25% damage boost.

Is the Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero still worth using?

Yes, particularly if Lefty and Righty is already part of your playstyle. Raven’s splash damage is fun against groups, while Evelynn and Noir help you pull out the pistols more often and keep them active longer. The Fortnite Save the World Raven Hero is still a strong reason to experiment with an ability-focused loadout.

Start with Raven, Evelynn and Noir, then try Grave Feather in Support if you want more critical hits. A few missions will show you whether you prefer Raven’s explosions or a crit-focused Commander.
