Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour has a Saturday evening session on 24 October 2026 and a second session early on Sunday 25 October. The first session is 5–7 PM BST on Saturday. The second begins at 1 AM BST on Sunday 25 October and finishes at 2 AM GMT, after the UK clocks have gone back. Both sessions last two hours in real time, even though the second crosses the clock change.
The featured class is Ninja. During the event, ability eliminations boost Ninja melee damage and attack speed, melee eliminations shorten active ability cooldowns and Shadow Stance benefits are doubled. The trade-off is reduced ranged weapon and trap damage. Golden Mist Monsters award Gold, while related Campaign Quests can award Llamas. This is a Save the World Campaign event, completely separate from the Community Sprites Battle Royale Power Hour.
Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour: all session times
| Session | UK (date and time) | UTC (date and time) | US Eastern (date and time) |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Heroic Hour | Saturday 24 Oct, 5–7 PM BST | Saturday 24 Oct, 4–6 PM UTC | Saturday 24 Oct, 12–2 PM EDT |
| Second Heroic Hour | Sunday 25 Oct, 1 AM BST to 2 AM GMT | Sunday 25 Oct, 12–2 AM UTC | Saturday 24 Oct, 8–10 PM EDT |
The overnight session needs a closer look because the clocks change while it’s running. At 2 AM BST on Sunday, the clock changes back to 1 AM GMT. In other words, if you start at 1 AM BST, you’ll see the 1 AM hour happen again, now labelled GMT, before the event ends at 2 AM GMT. If your phone updates automatically, let it handle the change rather than manually adjusting it before the event.
Epic’s regular Heroic Hours schedule rotates between Soldier, Constructor, Outlander and Ninja; Ninja is the focus for 24 October. Our Homebase Heroic Hours countdown guide shows where to check the in-game timer above your Quest Log. Use that display to confirm the live window before starting a mission.
Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour buffs and drawbacks
| Modifier | How it changes your approach |
|---|---|
| Ability eliminations | Increase melee damage and attack speed. Get kills with your Ninja abilities before engaging enemies in close quarters. |
| Melee eliminations | Reduce cooldowns on active abilities. Alternate melee kills with ability use to keep the cycle going. |
| Shadow Stance | Benefits are doubled, encouraging repeated melee eliminations and mobile close-range combat. |
| Ranged weapon damage | Reduced during the event, so ranged-only loadouts lose some of their usual effectiveness. |
| Trap damage | Reduced, making a trap-only damage plan less attractive during the window. |
| Golden Mist Monsters | Eliminations can reward Gold as part of the special Heroic Hours event. |
| Campaign Quests | Related tasks can award Llamas while the event is active. |
Epic lists the buffs and drawbacks, but the announcement doesn’t include exact damage percentages, stacking limits or cooldown numbers. Those will need testing in the live event. The useful combination is clear, though: ability kills set up stronger melee attacks, and melee kills get your abilities ready sooner.
The Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour modifier specifically benefits Ninjas; the event notice doesn’t say that Soldiers, Constructors or Outlanders receive the same class buffs. Players can check their available characters in the Heroes menu and assign a Ninja to the Commander slot before queuing. For general hero comparisons outside the special modifier, see The Click’s best Save the World heroes.

Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour: choosing a hero
For Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour, choose a Ninja with a damage-dealing ability and a melee weapon you’re comfortable using. Check the hero’s Commander Perk, Team Perk and support slots before launching. The exact abilities depend on your chosen hero, so there isn’t one universal Ninja skill sequence for every account.
Once the session begins, try securing an ability elimination, then use your stronger, faster melee attacks on nearby enemies. Those melee eliminations are also your route back to shorter active cooldowns. Shadow Stance’s doubled benefits reward staying mobile and taking manageable close-range fights rather than standing still while firing a weakened ranged weapon.
Give yourself enough healing and defensive options for melee range, especially when fighting groups of Husks. A reliable melee weapon you have upgraded is more useful than an impressive weapon you can’t support with your resources. Traps can still protect an objective, but reduced trap damage means your own combat contribution matters more. The bonus favours melee and ability eliminations, so build around those strengths without relying entirely on traps or ranged damage.

Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour Golden Mist Monsters
Epic says Golden Mist Monsters can be eliminated to earn Gold during Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour. The announcement does not specify an exact spawn location, guaranteed mission type or Gold amount per enemy. Look for eligible event monsters in the Save the World Campaign while a session is active and check what the game awards after the encounter and mission. The Gold comes from the Save the World event, not Battle Royale’s Sprite Chests.
For Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour, choose a mission you can finish reliably instead of chasing an encounter in a difficult zone. A fast failed mission is unlikely to be better than completing a suitable objective while using the Ninja bonuses. Our Challenge the Rift guide is a separate Save the World mission walkthrough; it shouldn’t be mistaken for a guaranteed Golden Mist Monster location.
Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour Llama quests
For Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour, open your Quest Log and look for the current Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour Campaign Quests before you enter a mission. Check the exact objective and progress requirement shown on your account. Epic confirms Llamas as possible rewards from related quests but doesn’t list the precise October 24 targets, their required elimination counts, or the names and quantities of every Llama in this announcement.
These Heroic Hours quests are separate from the Portal Combat Questline’s Grave Feather reward, the Grave Feather Hero and the Willow Hero quest. Those have their own requirements. Don’t spend the special window chasing an unrelated quest if your goal is the Heroic Hours Llamas.
Whether a specific repeatable task refreshes for round two depends on the live Quest Log. A completed one-time objective shouldn’t be treated as automatically reset just because the later window begins. Verify your progress in Homebase before farming again.
Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour troubleshooting
Start with the right mode and clock: this event takes place in Save the World, not Battle Royale. The Saturday evening session uses BST in Britain, while Sunday’s session starts in BST and ends in GMT. Check Homebase’s countdown, select a Ninja Commander if you’re testing the class buffs and read the quest’s actual eligibility details. An Outlander or Soldier won’t suddenly gain the Ninja-specific effects.
If you don’t see the Gold or Llama reward, check whether the relevant elimination or quest condition was met and whether the mission completed successfully. Check the Campaign Quest log and rewards after returning to Homebase. Epic hasn’t announced a general October 24 reward bug, so it’s too early to label ordinary quest restrictions as a widespread issue.
Fortnite Save the World Ninja Power Hour: both rounds?
If you enjoy melee-focused Ninjas, this is a good opportunity to fight around the temporary ability-and-melee loop while pursuing event Gold and Llamas. If you’re mainly interested in Sprites, Finger Guns or starting as Freddy’s Animatronics, those belong to Battle Royale’s separate event, with different UK timings and no Ninja class buffs.
