Fortnite Baratie is the fish-shaped floating restaurant from One Piece, seen in promotional images for Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters season. The new season starts on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 2 PM GMT, but Epic’s October 30 announcement does not name Baratie as one of the launch island’s confirmed points of interest.
The image itself is unmistakable: a huge orange fish mouth, wooden decks, striped sails and a restaurant built on top. For One Piece fans, it’s an exciting glimpse of Sanji’s world. For anyone trying to choose a landing spot on Crossbones Isle, though, the distinction between a promotional appearance and a named in-game location matters.
Is Fortnite Baratie on the Treasure Hunters map?

The Fortnite Baratie restaurant has appeared in crossover preview imagery. What Epic officially names in its October 30 map announcement is Arlong Park and Windmill Village from One Piece, plus A$AP Rocky’s $.$. Rocky battleship. Baratie is not on that short list of named launch locations.
Some maps circulating before the season show a Baratie label. A preview label doesn’t establish a final Battle Royale point of interest, so it shouldn’t be used as the basis for an exact drop route or chest guide. The live Crossbones Isle map on November 1 will be the useful reference for players.
What does the Fortnite Baratie restaurant look like?
The most distinctive feature is the enormous orange fish head at the front, its open mouth forming part of the restaurant’s entrance. Wooden balconies wrap around the upper floors, with striped sails and a tall central structure rising above the decks. The word RESTAURANT appears on the roof.
In the promotional screenshot, smaller boats are visible nearby on the water. That helps show the scale of the design, but the image is best enjoyed as a look at the building itself, rather than a promise about usable vehicles or loot placements.
Where can you find Fortnite Baratie?
The Fortnite Baratie preview belongs to Treasure Hunters, not the outgoing Override island. When the new season opens, start by checking the live map for its named locations. The officially confirmed One Piece stops are Arlong Park and Windmill Village, both on the new 80-player Crossbones Isle.
Our Treasure Hunters map guide covers those places and the battleship, plus the cannons Epic says players can use to travel across the island. If Baratie appears as a playable location, its map name and position can then be checked directly rather than guessed from a screenshot.
Why is Baratie important in One Piece?
Baratie is the floating restaurant run by Zeff, a former pirate who became a chef. It is where Luffy meets Sanji, the cook who goes on to join the Straw Hat Pirates. The restaurant is also central to the early conflicts involving Don Krieg and Dracule Mihawk.
That’s why Fortnite Baratie is such a recognisable sight in crossover artwork. Even alongside an island packed with pirate ships and One Piece references, the bright fish-shaped restaurant stands out. It brings back a memorable part of the story from before the crew’s bigger adventures.
Will Baratie have a Sanji quest or Mythic weapon?
Epic’s announcement names three new Battle Royale combat additions: Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit, Zoro’s Three Sword Style and A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket. None is described there as a Baratie reward. Nor does the announcement introduce a restaurant boss or Sanji quest giver.
Sanji himself is confirmed for the Item Shop on November 7, alongside Zoro and the Chopper Sidekick. That date is for his cosmetic arrival, rather than a separate unlock time for the restaurant. Our One Piece skins guide has the character rollout.
When does Fortnite Baratie release?
Fortnite Baratie appears in the promotional material for a season beginning November 1 at 2 PM GMT (9 AM ET). Epic has not given the restaurant its own confirmed release date in the October 30 article. The November 1 launch is the time to check the Crossbones Isle map and explore the One Piece locations it contains.
The restaurant’s design is worth a look for its own sake, especially if you remember Sanji’s first meeting with the Straw Hats. The playable details, from entrances to chest locations, deserve a guide based on the actual island rather than on pre-launch guesses.
