Fortnite x One Piece release date and UK time

Fortnite x One Piece launches with Treasure Hunters on Sunday, November 1 at 2 PM GMT (9 AM ET). That’s also the start of the first Captain’s Day. Make sure you’ve claimed any outstanding Override Battle Pass rewards before the changeover.

Fortnite x One Piece characters: Shop and Battle Pass

The Fortnite x One Piece crossover is split between the Item Shop and the new Battle Pass. Luffy, Nami and Usopp arrive in the Shop on November 1, followed by Zoro and Sanji on November 7 and Buggy on November 13.

Chopper arrives as a Sidekick on November 7, rather than as a standard playable Outfit. In the seasonal Battle Pass, Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin join anime-style looks for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte.

Gift the Battle Pass to a friend and Epic says you’ll both get a Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style. That’s separate from the Shop characters. Our One Piece skins guide tracks their dates and the V-Bucks prices when they appear.

Going Merry teaser and the October 27 trailer

The first Fortnite x One Piece teaser shows the Going Merry high above the clouds, complete with its sheep figurehead. Its arrival recalls the familiar Battle Bus, while the October 27 trailer shifts attention to the characters.

The trailer brings Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Usopp together in a pirate setting, alongside an enormous chained treasure chest and Captain X. Wanted posters for Luffy and Ace also appeared before the reveal. The trailer is worth watching for the spectacle; the official announcement is where Epic sets out how the characters are obtained.

Crossbones Isle map and One Piece powers

Fortnite x One Piece isn’t just a cosmetic crossover. Crossbones Isle is a new 80-player Battle Royale map, and fans will recognise Arlong Park and Windmill Village. You can even launch yourself around the island using cannons.

Epic has confirmed Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit and Zoro’s Three Sword Style as gameplay powers. A$AP Rocky brings a separate battleship location, the $.$. Rocky, along with his Shock Rocket. These abilities are playable additions, rather than effects tied solely to wearing a character Outfit.

What else is coming during Treasure Hunters?

Captain’s Days arrive on November 1, 7, 12, 14 and 21. Epic says they bring new weapons, Sprites and more. Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays also run through the season, with Captain’s weapons appearing at match starts and boosted drops among the bonuses.

Outside the One Piece roster, A$AP Rocky joins the Shop on November 5 at 7 PM ET, Lil Uzi Vert arrives on November 12, and Kasane Teto and Cap’n Hatsune Miku follow on November 14. Epic has also announced a Chapter 7 end event on December 5.

Where to start with the crossover

On November 1, start Fortnite x One Piece wherever your interests lie: the Shop for Luffy, Nami and Usopp, the Battle Pass for Ace and Robin, or Crossbones Isle to explore the new locations and try the powers.

The island and its powers arrive on launch day. Zoro, Sanji and Chopper follow on November 7, Buggy arrives November 13, and Captain’s Days bring more changes across the month.
