ESO Western Skyrim Skyshard Locations cover eleven collectibles in Western Skyrim: six out in the open, four inside delves, and one in Labyrinthian public dungeon. Players often miss Labyrinthian, Chillwind Depths, Dragonhome and Shadowgreen because their shard clues appear on the Western Skyrim map even though the beam is inside.
Blackreach: Greymoor Caverns has seven more Skyshards on a separate underground map. The list below includes all eleven surface-zone pickups, including delves and the public dungeon.
All 11 Western Skyrim Skyshard clues

- 1. Circle of Champions: climb the ruined tower and collect the shard at its top.
- 2. Storm-Hawk’s Altar: find the shrine outside Solitude.
- 3. Jarl Olfwenn’s Hall: search close to the hall in Mor Khazgur.
- 4. Morthal henge: reach the standing stones south of Morthal.
- 5. Dragon’s Belly: look by the Dragon’s Belly crafting site.
- 6. Hunter’s House: search the nearby outdoor altar.
- 7. Labyrinthian: inside the public dungeon’s burial mound.
- 8. Chillwind Depths: through the Frostvenom Spider nest.
- 9. Dragonhome: at its cliffside altar inside the delve.
- 10. Frozen Coast: among coastal crags and rocks.
- 11. Shadowgreen: climb to a high ledge within the delve.
The checklist includes dungeon interiors; a marker near a cave entrance doesn’t tell you how many corridors or levels separate you from the collectible. If the beam is missing outside, enter the named dungeon.
All 11 Western Skyrim Skyshards: map coordinates
These coordinates use the Western Skyrim zone map. For a shard inside a delve or public dungeon, travel to the indicated area first and then enter the named dungeon. Use the in-game Skyshard clue to find the exact chamber.

Where to get the six northern and western outdoor Skyshards
At Circle of Champions, head for the tower itself rather than the world boss’s arena. Storm-Hawk’s Altar is a separate outdoor shrine near Solitude. Travel to Mor Khazgur for the Jarl Olfwenn’s Hall clue, then ride south from Morthal to find the standing-stone henge. None of these require clearing a delve.
The remaining outdoor shards are by Dragon’s Belly near its crafting site and near the altar close to Hunter’s House, between Hunter’s House and Hjaalmarch Great Lift. Frozen Coast isn’t one of the outdoor pickups: its Skyshard is inside the delve.
Labyrinthian, Chillwind Depths and Frozen Coast Skyshard routes
Labyrinthian’s shard is inside the public dungeon’s burial mound. Enter the ruins and follow the dungeon passages; you can fight Garneld the Hollow’s group event on the same visit to earn a separate skill point. Chillwind Depths requires heading into the delve and passing through the Frostvenom Spider nest.
For the Frozen Coast shard, enter the delve and follow the cave passages to the coastal crags. The Skyshard lies along the interior route, not on the exterior shoreline. You don’t unlock these dungeon shards by defeating bosses: pick up each glowing Skyshard directly once you reach its location. You can clear the dungeon achievements at the same time, but neither the Labyrinthian boss nor the spiders award that particular shard automatically.
Dragonhome and Shadowgreen delve routes

Dragonhome’s shard sits beside a cliffside altar inside the delve. If you find a similarly shaped outdoor cliff, you’re in the wrong area. In Shadowgreen, ascend the internal route towards the high precipice. This shard’s clue describes elevation, so don’t search only its lower chambers.
If a Skyshard still appears uncollected, check the individual clue in Journal achievements and return to its named delve. The white beam should remain until collected on that character.
Skill points and the Blackreach collection
Collecting all eleven Western Skyrim Skyshards gives three full skill points and two more shards towards the next point. The other seven are in Blackreach, completing the Greymoor total of eighteen and six full skill points. Three Skyshards equal one skill point.
See the Blackreach Skyshard guide to finish the set. The surface-zone list doesn’t include Greymoor Keep, Dusktown, Nchuthnkarst, Midnight Barrow or The Scraps: those are underground destinations.
