ESO Sticker Book: How to Collect Sets and Reconstruct Gear

ESO Eastern Skyrim Access: How Season Two Works

The ESO Sticker Book records the pieces of dropped equipment sets you’ve collected across your account. When a specific piece is bound, its entry becomes available for reconstruction at a Transmute Station, saving you from permanently storing every duplicate in the bank.

Collecting a set’s gloves doesn’t mean you’ve also unlocked its sword or chest piece. The Sticker Book remembers each item type separately, and the price of rebuilding that item drops as you collect more of the set. Here is how to register gear and get a new piece in the trait you need.

Find the ESO Sticker Book in Collections

Open Collections, then choose Sets to view your recorded equipment. Browse the overland, dungeon, Trial and other set categories and open one to see which items you’ve collected. Hover over a missing entry to read the source and set bonuses. Sticker Book covers most non-crafted equipment sets; crafted sets are excluded because those need the appropriate crafted-set stations, trait requirements and materials instead.

How to register an item in the ESO Sticker Book

Equip or otherwise bind an eligible set piece to your account, or allow its dungeon group-trade window to finish. Deconstructing an eligible dropped item also adds its set piece to the collection. Items that can still be freely traded to party members may not register immediately. The collection is account-wide, so you don’t need to repeat every drop on every character. Check the icon in Collections before selling or destroying something rare if you’re unsure.

Why you can’t reconstruct the weapon you wanted

Each armour slot and weapon type has a separate entry. A collected pair of boots does not unlock a matching staff, and an inferno staff doesn’t automatically unlock the lightning-staff version. If the set appears in Collections but the slot you want is still greyed out, you must find that particular drop. The reconstruction system cannot create every weapon in a set just because you’ve collected a few of its armour pieces.

Use your ESO Sticker Book at a Transmute Station

Visit a Transmute Station in Clockwork City, a guildhall or home, or an applicable alliance crafting area. Choose Sets or Reconstruct and open the item set you want. Select the unlocked item slot and a trait your character has researched for that type of equipment. Review the quality and cost, then confirm. Your new piece is bound and cannot be traded or sold to another player. Reconstruction creates a new item; it doesn’t retrieve the original piece.

Why reconstruction costs between 75 and 25 Crystals

With only one item collected from a set, reconstructing it requires 75 Crystals. The price decreases as your collection grows, eventually reaching 25 Transmute Crystals when every item is unlocked. The station displays the current price; you don’t need to guess how many more pieces will reach a particular cost. The more set pieces you’ve collected, because rebuilding a familiar set becomes cheaper.

ESO Sticker Book- Choosing traits and item quality

You can select any trait already researched for that exact item type and you won’t need to supply its trait stone. You do need crafting improvement materials to make the piece higher quality than its standard drop quality. For example, a set that normally appears blue needs the appropriate materials to reconstruct at purple or gold. Reconstruction doesn’t preserve every custom enchantment from your old item; inspect the new item and apply your desired glyph if needed.

Deconstructing a reconstructed piece

Use the appropriate crafting station to dismantle a reconstructed item. You’ll receive 25 Transmute Crystals back, even if your original reconstruction cost was higher. Some upgrade materials may return depending on crafting passives, but you won’t reliably recover everything spent making a Legendary piece. Your collection still retains the unlocked entry, so you can reconstruct the item again later. Don’t dismantle valuable existing upgraded gear solely to create a new copy at a higher material cost.

How the ESO Sticker Book helps free bank space

Bind newly found set pieces, check whether the Sticker Book registered them, and deconstruct duplicates you don’t need. Keep equipment with rare upgrades, useful traits or sentimental value, especially Legendary pieces that would cost a lot to recreate. You can then save bank space without losing access to many collected sets. The Sticker Book records equipment you’ve collected, not physical copies of each item, and reconstruction always has a Crystal cost.
