Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes now include live Patch 3.2.4, Build #74043, released on October 28, 2026 across all platforms. Prime Evil Splinters can now stack to 99 instead of 1. Blizzard also delivered stability, visual and UI improvements.
This is a storage update, not a change to your active Prime Evil power or a new class balance pass. Below are the exact changes, what to check if stacks still appear limited to one, the earlier 3.2.3 questline recovery, and the broader Season 15 changes introduced in 3.2.1.
Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes: 3.2.4 is live
Blizzard released Patch 3.2.4, Build #74043, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with the label All Platforms. This includes the live PC, Xbox and PlayStation versions. Its published changes are:
- Prime Evil Splinters: item stacks increased from 1 to 99.
- Stability, visual and UI improvements: general changes, with no individual issues identified.
A stack can now hold up to 99 matching Prime Evil Splinters, using fewer inventory slots. This does not allow 99 active Prime Evil powers: you can still bear only one Prime Evil’s Splinter for its power and reputation track. For the old one-item display, version checks and the difference between items and active powers, read our Prime Evil Splinters stacking guide.
There are no 3.2.4 class balance changes, new Splinter drop rates, new Soul Splinter recipes or fixes for characters whose quest was already stuck in Blizzard’s notes. The Prime Evil Powers recovery guide covers that older problem. Season 16’s 3.3.0 PTR is a separate test build.
Diablo 4 Patch 3.2.3: All October 14 fixes (now live)
Blizzard released Diablo 4 patch 3.2.3 (Build #73883) for all platforms on October 14, 2026. These fixes remain live and are separate from the October 28 storage change.
- Prime Evil Splinter questline: prevents a questline lock caused by using a Prime Evil Splinter before completing the seasonal story. It does not automatically repair existing stuck quest progress. Blizzard’s recovery is to finish the seasonal questline on a different seasonal character in the same Normal/Hardcore and Normal/SSF partition. Prime Evil Powers then unlock for all characters in that partition. Follow the Prime Evil Powers recovery guide.
- Baal loot: corrects Tyrael’s spawn position, which could make loot difficult to pick up.
- Sandstone Golem: fixes the boss failing to respawn after a player’s death.
- Countess: fixes the boss moving through the fog wall and preventing encounter progression.
- Horadric Cube: fixes rerolls failing for Impairment Reduction, Barrier Generation, +Healing and Critical Strike Damage affixes.
- Necromancer quest: fixes Unbroken Bones failing to drop from all intended enemies.
Blizzard’s 3.2.3 fix prevents using a Prime Evil Splinter too early from blocking the quest. It does not reset a character whose quest was already stuck. To recover the powers, finish the questline on another character in the same Normal or Hardcore and Normal or Solo Self-Found partition. The powers then unlock for every character in that partition. Our existing recovery guide explains the steps; the 3.2.4 stack-size change does not replace them.
Big class changes in the Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes

Barbarian takes some of the clearest reductions in Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes, including a lower core-stat scalar and cuts to several established damage bonuses. Druid moves the other way in key areas: its core-stat scalar rises from 1.25 to 1.625, Fleshrender is heavily improved for Tornado and Grizzly Rage gets a much stronger Cornered Beast interaction.
Necromancer, Paladin and several other classes receive core-stat and build-specific changes, while Warlock gets a broad set of skill, Sigil and Soul Shard improvements. That is why Warlock enters the season as a strong launch-day class recommendation in our Season 15 best class guide, even though live testing can still move the order.
Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes: original loot and crafting changes
The Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes increase Mythic Unique opportunities in several places. Greater Lair Bosses get a slightly higher Mythic drop rate, Provoke Lair Bosses are brought up to match Greater Lair Bosses, Belial is improved and random Mythic sources become more generous. Echo of Mephisto also gets better overall loot with a guaranteed Mythic drop.
Crafting costs are cleaned up in Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes as well. Royal and Grand Gem crafting needs fewer Forgotten Souls, enchanting Ancestral items at the Occultist is cheaper, and several Sigil Powder costs and salvage returns are rebalanced. These changes matter because Season 15 also leans harder into Horadric Cube crafting and deterministic Mythic options.
Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes: World Tiers and rewards
Progression received several buffs in Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes. Expert and Penitent unlock after the Prologue instead of waiting for campaign completion, and bonus experience rises on high Torment levels. Blizzard gives examples of Torment X increasing from 1200% to 1300%, Torment XI from 1300% to 1500% and Torment XII from 1400% to 1700%.
Whisper caches also become much more attractive. Gold rewards are increased heavily, Gem Fragment rewards are roughly doubled, higher difficulties can award Royal or Grand Gems, Cube-material caches improve and Key caches provide more Tributes and Sigil Dust. The Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes therefore change routine farming value, not just headline class DPS.
Season 15 bug fixes and what to watch
The opening section of Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes fixes several problems found around the new seasonal gear and Soul Splinters. Leoric’s Crown receives multiple corrections, Splinter of the Mother no longer loses stacks after mounting, Splinter of Lies correctly applies Vulnerable while mounted and Splinter of Pain no longer incorrectly reduces movement speed in a specific Mother interaction.

The Diablo 4 Season 15 Patch Notes are large enough that checking only your class section misses several economy and endgame changes that will affect every character.
