Diablo 4 PTR known issues for the 3.3.0 Season 16 test include broken character copying, War Plans points that appear missing on alts, a Lair of Runes bonus that doesn’t increase rune drops and several Horadric Item bonuses that fail to work correctly. Blizzard published the official list on 27 October 2026, and the problems are specific to the Public Test Realm.
Two issues have clear actions: change zones when eligible alts have no shared War Plans points, and leave and re-enter Demonform for the Warlock’s Flesh of Abaddon bonus. The other reported bugs are listed below.
Diablo 4 PTR known issues: Every confirmed 3.3.0 bug

Blizzard’s Diablo 4 PTR known issues thread identifies the following problems in the October 27 build. This is a test client on PC, not a list of bugs confirmed in the live 3.2.4 game. Blizzard says it intends to address the listed issues by the official 3.3.0 release.
| Affected feature | Confirmed PTR behaviour | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Character account copy | Copying live account characters into the PTR does not function | Create a new test character and use PTR boosts |
| Shared War Plans points | An alt may initially display no shared points | Change zones, then check again |
| Lair of Runes | Node does not increase rune drops from Lair Bosses | No confirmed player-side fix |
| Flesh of Abaddon (Warlock) | Demonform bonus damage may not apply | Leave and re-enter Demonform |
| Fulcrum of Mephis (Warlock) | Lesser Demon chance only works with the actual set bonus | Test with the real Fulcrum set active |
| Paladin Horadric Items | Damage bonus against Weakened enemies does not apply | No confirmed workaround |
| Song of the Old Mountain (Druid) | Five-piece Petrify explosion remains at 200%, not 300% | Known PTR value bug |
| Spellbound Steel (Rogue) | Five-piece bonus does not increase Shadow Imbuement for Shadow Clone | No confirmed workaround |
| Merchant of Mystery | Merchant may show up before Torment difficulty | Ignore the early appearance when judging intended access |
Diablo 4 PTR known issues: Character copy not working
Blizzard confirms that character account copy does not work in the 3.3.0 PTR. Create a new test character and use Mrak’s boosts to equip it.
In Battle.net, select the Public Test Realm client for Diablo IV, create a test character and find Mrak, Blizzard’s PTR boost vendor near the main Waypoint in major cities. His boosts can set a character to level 70, provide equipment and materials, unlock Waypoints and Torment tiers, and grant War Plans progress and Horadric Items. Use a Seasonal test character for the seasonal features. Our PTR Build Testing guide covers all Mrak’s boosts.
Diablo 4 PTR known issues: War Plans points missing
If an alt shows zero shared points, the Diablo 4 PTR known issues list gives a simple thing to try: change zones on that character, then check the War Plans screen again. Blizzard describes this as a display or update problem that may resolve after a zone change, not as proof that the points have been deleted.
Shared War Plans reputation only applies across characters in matching Seasonal or Eternal, Hardcore or non-Hardcore, and Solo Self-Found or non-SSF partitions. Those characters share reputation progress but can spend their points in separate planners. A character in a different partition is not supposed to share those points.
For the full workaround and account-sharing rules, see War Plans Points Missing on Alts. Our War Plans Tactics article explains the activity and reward nodes.
Diablo 4 PTR known issues: Lair of Runes drops
Among the Diablo 4 PTR known issues, Blizzard confirms the Lair of Runes node is not increasing rune drops from Lair Bosses in this test. The node may be selected without delivering its advertised bonus. That is a known issue, not a reason to assume the rune reward has been deliberately removed from the finished Season 16 system.
The Diablo 4 PTR known issues include this rune-drop problem, so don’t judge the node’s value from the current test results. Our War Plans guide explains the intended activity and reward setup. Our War Plans Tactics guide explains how the activity and reward choices are meant to work.

Diablo 4 PTR known issues with Horadric Item bonuses
Several Diablo 4 PTR known issues affect bonuses that connect Horadric Items with Talisman sets. On Warlock, the bonus damage from Flesh of Abaddon may not take effect until you leave Demonform and enter it again. This is the one class-item workaround Blizzard specifically mentions.
The Fulcrum of Mephis Lesser Demon chance currently works only when you actually have the Fulcrum of Mephis set bonus active. Getting what looks like the matching bonus through a Horadric Item does not trigger the effect. That isn’t how the new item interaction is intended to work, so this behaviour belongs to the test build.
For Paladin, Blizzard lists the Horadric bonus damage to Weakened enemies as non-functional, with no workaround. Our Horadric Items guide covers the intended jewelry, armour and weapon bonus thresholds. Do not use the bugged PTR interactions as a reliable measure of final damage.
Druid and Rogue Talisman set bonuses
The Druid’s Song of the Old Mountain five-piece set still gives its Petrify explosion 200% bonus damage rather than the new 300% value in the PTR notes. That’s an incorrect test value, not an announced reversal of the intended buff. Separately, the Rogue’s Spellbound Steel five-piece bonus does not increase Shadow Imbuement when used by Shadow Clone.
Blizzard has not listed a player-side fix for either problem. They’re worth noting when comparing builds, especially if you’re using the Talisman set bonuses guide to plan your equipment.
Merchant of Mystery appearing before Torment
The Diablo 4 PTR known issues also include Merchant of Mystery appearing early. Blizzard says this merchant may appear at difficulties below Torment, even though the intended Season 16 design introduces the merchant at Torment difficulty through Tyrael’s Boons.
The merchant belongs at Torment difficulty in Tyrael’s Boons. Its earlier appearance is a PTR bug, not a new unlock route. Our Tyrael’s Boons guide covers the intended rules.
How to report a new Diablo 4 PTR bug
The Diablo 4 PTR known issues are being tracked during a PC-only test through Battle.net from 27 October to 3 November 2026. If you find something not covered by Blizzard’s Diablo 4 PTR known issues, open the game’s menu with Esc and use Report a Bug, or post in the official Diablo IV PTR forum. Include the class, items or nodes equipped, what you expected and what actually happened.
For installation and UK server times, read Diablo 4 Season 16 PTR. For rebuilding a hero without character copy, use PTR Build Testing.
