Allies and Adversaries Insignia is the new cosmetic reward tied to Darktide’s limited Depths of the Damned event. Fatshark confirms the Insignia alongside Plasteel, Ordo Dockets and Diamantine, and the event ends on October 13, so this is a reward worth finishing before the temporary track closes.
You unlock the Allies and Adversaries Insignia by progressing the Allies and Adversaries event through the connected Terrors in the Depths campaign. That means playing the campaign missions rather than searching the Commodore’s Vestures or treating the Insignia as a random boss drop from Prophet of Decay.
How to unlock the Allies and Adversaries Insignia
Enter the event while it is live and work through the three campaign missions: Consignment Yard, Enclavum Baross and Spillway. Fatshark says playing the full campaign progresses Allies and Adversaries, with the Insignia listed among the event rewards.
Keep checking the in-game event track as you play. The developer announcement confirms the reward type but does not provide a complete public milestone table with every exact point requirement, so the live tracker is the safest place to see how much progress remains on your account.

Is the Insignia a Prophet of Decay drop?
No. The Allies and Adversaries Insignia belongs to the event reward track rather than the boss’s ordinary loot. Spillway and Prophet of Decay matter because they are part of the required campaign, but killing the boss once should not be confused with receiving the cosmetic automatically.
That difference also explains why players can finish a Spillway run and still need more event progress. The campaign is the activity source, while the event tracker decides when the reward milestone is complete.
When does the Insignia event end?
The deadline is October 13, 2026. Once Allies and Adversaries ends, Fatshark has not promised that the Allies and Adversaries Insignia immediately moves into another shop or reward pool.
Players who collect cosmetics should therefore prioritise this track before spending the whole week on permanent Penances. Spillway remains available later, but the limited reward window does not.
Which missions should you play?
Start with Consignment Yard, then Enclavum Baross and finish with Spillway. The first two are established missions with new story context, while the third is the new mission and includes the Prophet of Decay finale.
If your only goal is the Allies and Adversaries Insignia, following the campaign structure keeps your runs aligned with the event’s stated requirement. Random unrelated missions are not what Fatshark names in the event announcement.
What other rewards are in Allies and Adversaries?
Alongside the cosmetic, Fatshark confirms Plasteel, Ordo Dockets and Diamantine. Those materials make the event useful even before the final cosmetic milestone, especially for returning players who also need resources for the six new weapons.
The Allies and Adversaries Insignia remains the unique part of the reward set because progression currencies have many other sources. That is why missing the event matters more to collectors than missing one material milestone.
What if the Insignia has not unlocked?
Check the event screen first and confirm the required milestone has actually been reached. If progress appears stuck, make sure you are running the campaign missions named by Fatshark rather than assuming any mission contributes.
Also update the game before troubleshooting. Depths of the Damned received Hotfix 1.13.1 shortly after launch, and staying on the current build avoids chasing problems that have already been fixed elsewhere in the update.
Allies and Adversaries Insignia progress is therefore tied to the event track, not to one lucky boss drop or a store purchase.
