Chandelure Pokémon GO is a Ghost- and Fire-type Pokémon from the Unova region that evolves from Lampent using 100 Litwick Candy and a Unova Stone. Shiny Chandelure is available, Chandelure reaches a maximum of 3,695 CP at Level 50, and it can work as either a Ghost- or Fire-type attacker.
Chandelure Pokémon GO is especially relevant during Twilight Trails. Mega Chandelure made its debut on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm local time, during Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day. The event also begins its Super Max eligibility and adds Ominous Wind+ while Mega Evolved.
Trainers with a strong or Shiny Chandelure can prepare by keeping one ready to Mega Evolve and collecting Mega Energy during the October 31 raids.

How to Get Chandelure Pokémon GO
The standard way to get Chandelure Pokémon GO is by evolving Litwick through Lampent.
Litwick first evolves into Lampent using 25 Litwick Candy.
Lampent then requires 100 Litwick Candy and one Unova Stone to evolve into Chandelure.
| Evolution | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Litwick → Lampent | 25 Litwick Candy |
| Lampent → Chandelure | 100 Litwick Candy + 1 Unova Stone |
| Full evolution from Litwick | 125 Litwick Candy + 1 Unova Stone |
Unlike many three-stage Pokémon, Candy alone is not enough to complete the Chandelure evolution. Trainers also need a Unova Stone for the final step.

How to Evolve Lampent Into Chandelure Pokémon GO
To evolve Lampent into Chandelure Pokémon GO, Trainers need 100 Litwick Candy and one Unova Stone.
Once both requirements are available, open Lampent’s Pokémon page and select the evolution option.
There is no Buddy walking distance, battle requirement or other special task required.
The Unova Stone is consumed when Lampent evolves.

Can Chandelure Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
Yes. Shiny Chandelure is available in Pokémon GO.
A Shiny Litwick can be evolved into Shiny Lampent and then Shiny Chandelure using the normal evolution requirements.
That means Trainers need:
25 Litwick Candy to reach Shiny Lampent
then
100 Litwick Candy and one Unova Stone to reach Shiny Chandelure.
Shiny status is retained throughout the evolution line.
Mega Chandelure release date in Pokémon GO

Mega Chandelure Super Max and Ominous Wind+
Starting October 31, Mega Chandelure can use Ominous Wind+, an additional Charged Attack available whenever it’s Mega Evolved. The published figures are 50 power in Trainer Battles, with a chance to raise Attack and Defense by one stage, and 145 power in raids and Gyms. The attack grows stronger at higher Mega Levels, and it doesn’t replace a regular moveset slot.
To reach Super Max, you must first raise your selected Chandelure to the third Mega Level, Max, then spend more Chandelure Mega Energy. From November 2 to 15, successful Global Challenge tiers can boost Ominous Wind+ power and provide an extra CP boost to Super Max Mega Chandelure. The additional Ominous Wind+ challenge power bonus does not apply in GO Battle League. See the Mega Chandelure Super Max guide for the progression and challenge dates.

What Type Is Chandelure Pokémon GO?
Chandelure Pokémon GO is a dual Ghost- and Fire-type Pokémon.
This combination gives Chandelure five main weaknesses:
- Dark
- Ghost
- Ground
- Rock
- Water
Chandelure also has a large number of resistances due to its unusual type combination.
Damage taken when Chandelure is hit by each type:
Weak to
Resists
Strongly resists
Immune to
Based on Ghost / Fire typing. Abilities may modify these matchups.
Chandelure Pokémon GO Weaknesses
The main Chandelure Pokémon GO weaknesses are Dark-, Ghost-, Ground-, Rock- and Water-type attacks.
| Attack type | Effect against Chandelure |
|---|---|
| Dark | Super effective |
| Ghost | Super effective |
| Ground | Super effective |
| Rock | Super effective |
| Water | Super effective |
These weaknesses will also be particularly relevant when Mega Chandelure begins appearing in Pokémon GO battle content.
Strong Dark-, Ghost-, Ground-, Rock- and Water-type Pokémon provide plenty of options for building teams against the Chandelure family.
Chandelure Pokémon GO Max CP and Stats
Chandelure Pokémon GO reaches a maximum CP of 3,695 at Level 50.
Its base Attack stat is 271, giving Chandelure strong offensive potential as both a Ghost- and Fire-type attacker.
| Chandelure | Value |
|---|---|
| Maximum CP at Level 50 | 3,695 |
| Base Attack | 271 |
| Base Defense | 182 |
| Base HP | 155 |
Chandelure’s relatively high Attack stat is one of the main reasons it remains useful despite competition from newer Ghost- and Fire-type Pokémon.

Best Chandelure Pokémon GO Moveset
The best Chandelure Pokémon GO moveset depends on whether it is being used as a Ghost- or Fire-type attacker.
For Ghost-type damage, use:
Hex + Shadow Ball
For Fire-type damage, use:
Fire Spin + Overheat
| Role | Fast Attack | Charged Attack |
|---|---|---|
| Ghost attacker | Hex | Shadow Ball |
| Fire attacker | Fire Spin | Overheat |
This flexibility allows Chandelure to fill two different raid roles without requiring a completely different Pokémon.
Shadow Ball is particularly useful for Ghost-type damage, while Overheat gives Chandelure a powerful Fire-type option.
Is Chandelure Good in Pokémon GO?
Yes. Chandelure Pokémon GO remains a useful attacker, particularly for Trainers who want a Pokémon capable of providing both Ghost- and Fire-type damage.
Its 271 Attack stat is strong, while access to Hex and Shadow Ball provides a reliable Ghost moveset.
Changing to Fire Spin and Overheat allows the same Chandelure to function as a Fire attacker.
Chandelure is less durable than some competing Pokémon, but its offensive stats make it useful when raw damage is the priority.
The confirmed arrival of Mega Chandelure also gives the species renewed long-term relevance.
Chandelure Pokémon GO Hundo CP
A perfect 15/15/15 Chandelure has different CP values depending on the encounter level.
| Encounter | 100 IV Chandelure CP |
|---|---|
| Level 15 Research | 1,401 CP |
| Level 20 | 1,867 CP |
| Level 25 weather boosted | 2,335 CP |
Chandelure is boosted by Sunny and Fog weather because of its Fire- and Ghost-type combination.
These fixed CP values can be used to identify a perfect Chandelure immediately when it is encountered at the corresponding level.
Can Shiny Chandelure Become Mega Chandelure?
Shiny Chandelure is already available in Pokémon GO, while Mega Chandelure is confirmed to debut during Twilight Trails.
Mega Evolution uses an existing eligible Pokémon rather than requiring Trainers to catch an entirely separate standard species.
The debut is confirmed for October 31, 2026. A Shiny Chandelure can Mega Evolve like a normal Chandelure, and the Ominous Wind+ attack is available while it’s Mega Evolved from that date.
Should You Keep a Good Chandelure for Twilight Trails?
Yes. A strong Chandelure Pokémon GO is worth keeping ahead of Twilight Trails.
High-IV Chandelure, Shiny Chandelure and strong raid attackers are all useful candidates for the confirmed October 31 Mega debut.
Trainers starting with Litwick need 125 Litwick Candy and one Unova Stone to complete the full evolution into Chandelure.
With Shiny availability, useful Ghost- and Fire-type movesets, a maximum CP of 3,695 and Mega Chandelure now available in Pokémon GO during Twilight Trails, Chandelure has both immediate and future value.
