Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer is the Zombies device that turns up the early-round pressure by making Zombies spawn faster, move faster and behave more aggressively while also reducing the delay between rounds. Season 6 Week 3 gives it a direct progression use by asking players to complete 10 rounds with the Rampage Inducer active. That makes the safest strategy a controlled ten-round block rather than toggling the device on and off constantly.
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer is optional outside the challenge, so activating it should be a deliberate choice. It speeds the match up but also removes breathing room between waves. Treyarch specifically notes that Black Ops 7 does not introduce the fastest super-sprinter Zombies through the Rampage Inducer before Round 20, which keeps the first ten challenge rounds manageable if your basic setup is ready.
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer: how to activate it
Look for the Rampage Inducer device in the early area of a Round-Based Zombies map. It is the container with unstable Aether crystals and an interaction prompt. In solo, interact to activate the effect. In co-op, all players must vote to turn it on, so the challenge is easier when the squad agrees before the run begins rather than arguing about the faster pace halfway through a round.
Once Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer is active, leave it on while you complete the ten required rounds. The device can be turned off, but toggling introduces unnecessary uncertainty when you are chasing a round-based challenge. The conservative route is to activate it before a fresh round begins, complete ten full round transitions with the effect active, then turn it off if you want a slower match.

What changes while Rampage Inducer is active
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer changes pacing rather than adding a separate enemy pool. Zombies reach the play area faster, move more aggressively and the downtime between rounds is reduced. That makes training tighter and gives you less time to buy armor, Pack-a-Punch, Perks or ammunition before the next wave is already arriving.
The faster pace is useful if your build is ahead of the round because you can compress ten rounds into less real time. It is punishing if your setup is behind because every shopping trip becomes more dangerous. Buy the essentials before you commit to a long Rampage block, and know where the nearest ammo source and escape route are before the density starts climbing.

How to stack the Week 3 Rampage challenge
The easiest Week 3 route is to combine Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer with the Zombies SMG and T.E.D.D. objectives. Use an SMG to build the 150 critical kills while the faster spawns feed more targets into your route. Accept T.E.D.D. Tasks when they appear, and continue collecting and spending Salvage during the same match. One stable run can therefore advance four weekly challenges at once.
Do not force the Special Weapon no-damage challenge during the most chaotic part of Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer unless you are comfortable with the weapon. That objective resets its local streak whenever you take damage, so mixing it into a high-pressure round can be slower than completing it later under normal pacing.
Can you turn the Rampage Inducer off?
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer can be disabled after activation. Treyarch explicitly confirms that the effect can be turned off, and co-op groups use a vote for the activation state. That is useful once your ten Week 3 rounds are safely completed because you can return to normal pacing without ending the match or abandoning other Zombies challenges.
If you are unsure whether the ten-round counter has finished, complete one extra full round before switching it off. Weekly challenges sometimes tempt players to count the starting round as one even when the game only credits completed round transitions. One extra clear is cheaper than discovering after Exfil that you stopped a round early.
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer not counting
If Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer progress is not moving, make sure the device remained active for the complete rounds you are expecting to count. Turning it on near the end of a round or disabling it during a round can make manual counting unreliable. Start with a clean round number, keep the device active, and check the Week 3 counter after a known ten-round block.
Also make sure you are playing a Zombies mode that actually contains the Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer device and the Week 3 challenge is active on your account. The requirement is ten completed rounds with the effect active, not ten minutes of Rampage time and not ten rounds merely played in the same match after the device has been switched off.
Black Ops 7 Rampage Inducer is fastest when you activate it with a plan for ten complete rounds rather than using it impulsively and losing track of the counter.
