Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies: Where to Find Them for 100 Critical Kills

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies are the specific targets needed for the Camo Costume Party Sniper Rifle challenge in Co-Op and Endgame. The event asks for 100 critical kills on Fear enemies with a Sniper Rifle, which means both parts matter: the target must be a Fear enemy and the kill must register as critical.

Fear enemies appear throughout Endgame activities and become especially common in higher-threat content, including Zone III and above activities that already use Fear variants as part of their encounter pool. For Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies progress, the useful approach is to choose enemy-dense Endgame activities and stay on the Sniper Rifle long enough to finish the critical-hit requirement rather than switching weapons between every encounter.

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies challenge requirement

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies must be killed with critical hits from a Sniper Rifle, and the Camo Costume Party total is 100. A normal body-shot kill does not satisfy the critical condition. A critical kill on a Guild Tech human does not satisfy the Fear-enemy condition. The challenge needs the correct target type and the correct hit result together.

Where Fear enemies appear in Endgame

Fear enemies are the supernatural enemy side of Endgame and show up during many activities, assignments and higher-zone encounters across Avalon. Existing Endgame challenge sets also use large Fear-enemy totals, which is a good indication that the intended farm is normal Endgame activity flow rather than one hidden spawn point.

Zones III and IV are useful when your Operator can survive them because stronger activities tend to keep Fear enemies in the fight for longer. Do not force a higher zone purely for density if your damage or survivability is too low. A stable lower-risk route that produces clean headshots can finish the counter faster than repeated deaths in a theoretically denser area.

How to get critical kills consistently

For Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies, aim for the enemy weak point and confirm the critical-hit feedback before assuming the kill counted. A Sniper Rifle makes individual precision shots easier to control, but crowd pressure can push players into body shots. Create distance, use cover and finish exposed targets deliberately rather than firing into a mixed pack.

The 100 total is large enough that checking the event tracker matters. After a group of clear critical kills, reopen the Camo Costume Party tab and confirm the counter has moved by roughly the amount expected. If it does not, verify you are fighting Fear enemies rather than Guild Tech forces or another enemy category.

Fear enemies versus Guild Tech and Elite targets

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies belong to the Sniper Rifle challenge, while the Assault Rifle event line needs 75 Guild Tech enemies and the Marksman Rifle line needs 25 Special or Elite enemies. These can all appear during Endgame, but they are three different conditions. Killing the wrong one with the right weapon will not satisfy a challenge that names a specific enemy group.

That distinction also helps when planning a session. If a run is producing Guild enemies, work on the Assault Rifle challenge. When Fear enemies are dense, swap the session goal to Sniper critical kills. Save Special and Elite targets for the Marksman Rifle line.

How this challenge connects to Gravebloom

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies are part of the nine-challenge Endgame mastery route. Finishing the 100 critical kills completes the Sniper Rifle class objective, but Gravebloom only unlocks after every weapon-class task on the Co-Op and Endgame tab is done.

For Oozed, Gravebloom is one of four required mastery camos. That makes the Fear-enemy Sniper challenge mandatory for anyone attempting the full Camo Costume Party completion rather than just collecting a few class-specific Undergrowth camos.

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies progress is easiest to manage when the live event tile is treated as the final checklist. Confirm the exact mode, class and condition before a long session, then check the counter after a small qualifying sample so the rest of the grind is based on progress the game is actually recording.

Black Ops 7 Fear Enemies should be checked in the live Camo Costume Party tracker after each completed requirement.
