AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid returns on November 4, 2026. Normal mode requires an item level of 2,800, while Hard requires 3,000. Both versions are returning with updated mechanics, and NC is resetting the first-clear race for the revamped encounter.

If you fought Ludra during Early Access, don’t expect exactly the same encounter. NC has changed its attack patterns and mechanics for the Global release. Experienced groups will have a head start, but there will still be new attacks to learn.

The AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid opens on November 4. Until then, the best preparation is to meet the required item level and make sure your party is ready for new attacks. Check the updated in-game raid menu when it goes live.

Why the AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid was removed

During Early Access, groups defeated Ludra at a lower overall progression level than the developer intended. Rather than release that encounter unchanged, NC temporarily removed Sanctuary Raid: Ludra from the Global launch and started rebuilding parts of the fight.

The new version keeps Ludra’s identity but includes adjusted attack patterns and mechanics. Players who cleared the old fight may recognise some elements, yet knowing every Early Access pattern won’t guarantee a successful Hard clear this time.

NC wants returning and new players to discover the revised fight together. That makes team preparation more valuable right now than memorising a step-by-step guide to the old version.

What time does the AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid start?

The raid has a confirmed November 4 date, but NC has not separately announced an exact server unlock time. The accompanying Ludra Conquest Check-In and Daeva Bootcamp events begin at 14:00 GMT, or 15:00 CET and 06:00 PST, on that day.

The 14:00 GMT event start is not a confirmed raid unlock time. Ludra Hunt begins after the November 4 maintenance, so anyone chasing a regional first clear should follow their server’s maintenance notice.

AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid rewards and first-clear titles

The return launches a new Hard-mode race across five regions: Europe, NA East, NA West, South America and Asia. The first 20 parties per region to defeat Ludra on Hard can earn titles and recognition through the reset Hall of Fame.

The first party earns The First to Slay Ludra, parties two to five get Ludra’s Conqueror, and parties six to twenty receive Ludra’s Vanquisher. All three ranked titles have purple decorative effects. Everyone else who defeats Ludra on Normal or Hard during the event can earn Ludra’s Nemesis.

NC counts parties, not individual rank spots. One party has ten players, and the first twenty parties account for 200 ranked players in each region. Ranked titles will be delivered no later than December 2 at 23:59 PST, not necessarily when you clear the boss.

The AION 2 Ludra Hunt titles guide explains the limited ranks, eligibility and regional deadlines. The title competition is separate from the rewards you can earn through the November check-in.

Will Early Access Ludra equipment return?

Yes. NC says Ludra-specific equipment taken temporarily from players who earned it during Early Access will be returned when the encounter comes back. Materials previously spent upgrading that equipment will also be reimbursed.

Players who cleared Ludra in European Early Access will receive a separate commemorative title. The equipment restoration and material reimbursement apply only to those who previously earned the removed items, not to every player joining on November 4.

How to prepare for the AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid

Start with your item level. For Normal, aim for at least 2,800; for Hard, you need 3,000. If your gear is short, the Hard Mode Expeditions guide and Urugugu and Vakron Hard guides cover existing endgame progression routes.

The short-term Odyle Energy Boost gives four Bound Energy per account daily during its event, helping you claim more dungeon rewards. After November 4, the Ludra Conquest Check-In offers seven login rewards, and Daeva Bootcamp counts eligible dungeon clears toward shared rewards.

For the AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary raid, the priorities are simple: reach the entry threshold, organise a group and check the new mechanics when the fight opens. If you’re aiming for one of the first-clear titles, you’ll need a Hard-mode clear within the competition window.
