Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions give pets separate movement abilities. A Fly-A-Pet Potion makes a pet flyable, while a Ride-A-Pet Potion lets you ride it. Both are Legendary one-use potions, and you can feed both to the same pet for the combined Fly Ride abilities.
A potion is consumed when you use it, so choose the pet carefully. The movement ability is attached to that animal afterwards rather than being an account upgrade you can apply to every pet. Here’s how each potion works and what happens when the upgraded pet is traded.
Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions: which does what?
The Fly potion lets you fly on your pet, while the Ride potion lets you ride it. One doesn’t include the other. In the official catalogue, both have Legendary rarity and exactly one use, even though the product names end with ‘Forever’.
| Potion | Permanent pet ability | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Fly-A-Pet Potion | Fly | 1 |
| Ride-A-Pet Potion | Ride | 1 |
How to get a Fly-A-Pet Potion
Fly potions are sold in the game’s Robux Shop and may also be obtained from another player in a supported trade while unused. Uplift Games has offered temporary sale prices before, so check the current Shop rather than assuming a historical discounted price is still available.
For Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions, it’s worth keeping unused items until you’ve chosen the right pet. You can’t feed one Fly potion to multiple pets, even if those pets have the same species or rarity.

How to get a Ride-A-Pet Potion
The Ride-A-Pet Potion is another Robux Shop item and can be traded when unused. It gives riding, not flying. If your goal is travelling with a pet on the ground, this ability may be the one you want without also buying a Fly potion.
Uplift Games listed Fly at 230 Robux and Ride at 117 Robux during a limited 10%-off sale in July 2025. Those are historic sale prices, not verified October 2026 shop prices for Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions. Check the purchase screen for the current amount.

How to feed a Fly or Ride potion
Equip the pet you want to upgrade, open the potion in your Backpack and feed it to that pet. Check the selected pet before confirming the action. The potion disappears after use, and the pet gains the flying or riding ability.
Using Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions doesn’t make a pet Neon, finish its age stages or change its rarity. To give it both abilities you need one of each potion; there isn’t a single Fly Ride potion doing both jobs.
Do Fly and Ride abilities stay after trading?
Yes. The upgraded pet keeps its Fly or Ride ability when traded to a new owner. This is why a Fly pet and an unused Fly potion are different items in a trade. Check the exact pet and its abilities before accepting an offer.
A pet’s trade value isn’t fixed by Uplift Games, even if it has received one of the Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions. Species, age, Neon status and the abilities all affect what another player might want.
Do Fly and Ride pets get bonus Releaser Tickets?
The Pet Releaser gives a 300-Ticket bonus for releasing a Fly pet and 150 Tickets for releasing a Ride pet. A Fly Ride pet can receive both bonuses on top of its rarity-based payout. Releasing removes the pet permanently, however.
Buying Adopt Me Fly and Ride potions only to collect those Tickets isn’t automatically good value. A one-use potion and the pet it’s attached to may matter far more to you than the fixed Ticket bonus.
