Adopt Me Endangered Egg: All 10 Pets, Hatch Odds and Availability

Adopt Me Endangered Egg contains ten endangered-animal pets, including the Legendary Blue Whale and Sea Turtle. It originally cost 750 Bucks through the Nursery Gumball Machine and had a combined 3% Legendary hatch chance. That original shop purchase is no longer available because the Fairytale Egg replaced it in August 2026.

If you’re collecting those animals now, you’ll need to know which pets were inside the egg and what you can still obtain through player trades. Here’s the complete hatch pool, the rarity percentages and the difference between its original price and present availability.

Can you still get the Adopt Me Endangered Egg?

It was released in early 2026 as the Nursery’s rotating egg, replacing the Aztec Egg at the Gumball Machine. When the Fairytale Egg arrived on August 29, 2026, the Endangered Egg was retired from that slot. You cannot assume that the old 750-Bucks Nursery option is still there.

To obtain an unhatched Adopt Me Endangered Egg now, find another player willing to trade one. You can also trade directly for one of its named pets if you’re only missing a particular animal. Check the actual egg or pet in the trade window rather than relying on a seller’s description.

All ten pets in the Adopt Me Endangered Egg

Uplift Games confirmed the following ten animals in the March 2026 release notes. There are two pets at each rarity, from Common through Legendary.

Pet Rarity
California Condor Common
Galapagos Sea Lion Common
Black Tiger Uncommon
Kakapo Uncommon
Black Rhino Rare
Mexican Wolf Rare
Black-Footed Ferret Ultra Rare
Pangolin Ultra Rare
Sea Turtle Legendary
Blue Whale Legendary

California Condor and Galapagos Sea Lion are Commons. Black Tiger and Kakapo are Uncommons, while Black Rhino and Mexican Wolf are Rare. Pangolin and Black-Footed Ferret belong to the Ultra Rare group, leaving Sea Turtle and Blue Whale as the two possible Legendary results.

Adopt Me Endangered Egg hatch odds

These are the hatch rarity chances listed for the original Adopt Me Endangered Egg. Each percentage describes a full rarity group, not an individually guaranteed chance for a specific animal.

Rarity Hatch chance
Common 35%
Uncommon 30%
Rare 20%
Ultra Rare 12%
Legendary 3%

The 3% Legendary rate includes both Sea Turtle and Blue Whale. The published tier odds don’t establish a separately verified individual rate for each animal, so don’t treat either one as guaranteed after a fixed number of eggs.

How many Needs to hatch an Endangered Egg?

An Adopt Me Endangered Egg needs five completed pet-care tasks to hatch. Equip the egg, complete its Needs and it will turn into one randomly selected animal from the ten-pet pool. The egg item is classified as Legendary, but that doesn’t mean it will hatch a Legendary animal.

If you want to keep a retired egg as part of your collection, avoid hatching it accidentally. Once opened, you receive the pet and no longer have that original unhatched egg in your inventory.

Are Blue Whale and Sea Turtle guaranteed?

No. Every hatch is random and the two Legendary animals share the 3% rarity tier. Even if you obtain several Adopt Me Endangered Egg copies through trades, you could hatch multiple lower-rarity animals instead of the one you hoped for.

If you only want Blue Whale or Sea Turtle, compare a direct trade offer with the cost of obtaining unhatched retired eggs. Trading demand isn’t the same thing as rarity probability, and the developer doesn’t set fixed player-to-player prices.

Endangered Egg versus the Fairytale Egg

The Fairytale Egg took over the Nursery Gumball Machine in August, with a different ten-pet lineup. It doesn’t hatch the Endangered Egg’s California Condor, Pangolin or Blue Whale. See our Fairytale Egg guide if you’re looking for the currently newer storybook pool.

The Adopt Me Endangered Egg remains an option for collectors who can find a trade, but its original 750-Bucks price is release history rather than an active purchasing instruction. Always check what egg is displayed in the Nursery before spending Bucks.
