Adopt Me Fairytale Egg: All 10 Pets, Hatch Odds and How to Get It

The Adopt Me Fairytale Egg arrived on August 29, 2026 with ten storybook-themed pets, from Pinkypillar to Huntsman Robin. The egg replaced the Endangered Egg in the Nursery’s Gumball Machine and costs 750 Bucks per egg. A four-egg bundle is also available for 99 Robux.

There are two different Fairytale-named eggs in Adopt Me, and they’re easy to confuse. This guide covers the regular Gumball Machine egg with ten pets, not the Royal Fairytale Egg purchased using daily Stars. Here’s the full pet pool, how to hatch it and the chances of finding a Legendary.

How to get the Adopt Me Fairytale Egg

Go to the Nursery on Adoption Island and find the Gumball Machine. Check that it is offering the Adopt Me Fairytale Egg, then pay 750 Bucks for one. The themed egg rotates when a new Gumball Machine egg takes its place, so checking its current sign is especially useful if you’re reading this guide after another update.

Uplift Games also announced a pack of four Fairytale Eggs for 99 Robux. You don’t have to buy that bundle to collect the pets: the individual egg is available through the Nursery using Bucks while it remains in the machine.

Every pet in the Adopt Me Fairytale Egg

The Adopt Me Fairytale Egg contains ten pets, two at every rarity from Common through Legendary. Uplift Games named all ten in the official August 29 release announcement.

PetRarity
PinkypillarCommon
Ms. MuffetCommon
Budgie WitchUncommon
Princess MareUncommon
ClumptyRare
Granny WolfRare
Little LambUltra Rare
Crimson CapeUltra Rare
Huntsman RobinLegendary
Three Blind MiceLegendary

The Legendary pets are Huntsman Robin and Three Blind Mice. Three Blind Mice counts as one pet, despite its name. Clumpty and Granny Wolf are the Rare hatches, while Little Lamb and Crimson Cape are Ultra Rare.

Adopt Me Fairytale Egg hatch chances

The regular Adopt Me Fairytale Egg has a reported 3% combined Legendary chance. These are the rarity probabilities listed for the Gumball Machine egg; the August 29 official announcement confirms the pets and rarities but does not itself publish the percentages.

RarityHatch chance
Common35%
Uncommon30%
Rare20%
Ultra Rare12%
Legendary3%

A 3% Legendary chance applies to the combined Legendary rarity, not a guaranteed Huntsman Robin or Three Blind Mice. Each egg gives one outcome. Opening several can improve your overall chance of seeing a Legendary, but no specific number of purchases guarantees one.

How many tasks does the Fairytale Egg take to hatch?

Equip your Adopt Me Fairytale Egg from the Pets section of your Backpack, then complete five of its Needs to hatch it. Those appear as regular activities you can complete while playing, such as caring for the egg. When the final Need is finished, you’ll receive one pet from the ten-pet pool.

The egg itself is classified as Legendary, but that’s its item rarity and not the rarity of the pet you will hatch. Most possible results are Common, Uncommon, Rare or Ultra Rare, so buying a Legendary-labelled egg is not the same thing as buying a Legendary pet.

Fairytale Egg vs Royal Fairytale Egg

The ordinary Adopt Me Fairytale Egg is the 750-Buck Nursery egg containing all ten pets. The Royal Fairytale Egg is a separate reward released with the September Star Rewards overhaul and costs 14 Stars. Royal Fairytale only contains the six Rare, Ultra Rare and Legendary storybook pets.

If you’re looking for Pinkypillar, Ms. Muffet, Budgie Witch or Princess Mare, choose the ordinary Fairytale Egg rather than Royal Fairytale. If you specifically want to avoid Common or Uncommon results, the Royal version has its own rarity odds and a different way of obtaining it.

Is the Fairytale Egg worth buying?

If you’re collecting all ten Fairytale pets, the regular egg is the only one of the two Fairytale variants with the Common and Uncommon characters. A 750-Buck purchase gives one random hatch, so save enough for multiple eggs if you’re aiming to fill the entire collection.

For a particular Legendary pet, remember that random hatching can become expensive quickly. Trading with another player may be worth considering if you already know which pet you want, but there is no single fixed or guaranteed trading value. The important first decision is whether you want the full ten-pet set or only one named pet.
