If you’re looking for the current Active Matter Twitch Drops, the launch campaign begins on September 18 with a seven-hour Week 1 reward track packed with Beacons, medical supplies, weapons, containers, camos and a unique cosmetic. The first reward unlocks after one hour of eligible watch time, while the final Week 1 reward is the Shadow Body Sleeve after seven hours.

The campaign runs for three weeks, but Matter.Team has only revealed the first week’s rewards so far. Week 1 lasts from September 18 at 15:00 UTC until September 25 at 15:00 UTC, which is 4:00 p.m. BST in the UK. Below are all of the confirmed Active Matter Twitch Drops, the watch times you need, and the account steps required before your viewing progress will count.

There are seven rewards in the first Active Matter Twitch Drops track, with a new milestone at every hour from one through seven. You do not need to choose between the rewards. Keep watching eligible Active Matter streams and you can work through the full track during the Week 1 window.

Watch timeReward
1 hour5 Beacons
2 hoursMedical Kit: 3 Big First Aid Kits, 5 Streaming Injectors, 10 Regeneration Injectors
3 hoursSmall Weapon Kit: 3 M45A1s, 3 MAC-11s, 3 Wood gun camos
4 hours1 unique dog tag
5 hours5 Large Safe Containers
6 hoursWeapon Kit: 3 DP-12s, 3 SCAR-Hs, 5 Pixel gun camos, 5 Reptile gun camos
7 hours1 Shadow Body Sleeve, or 150 Prime if already owned

The one-hour reward is useful immediately because Beacons are respawn equipment, while the later milestones become much more substantial. The three-hour and six-hour weapon kits add multiple firearms and camos, and the five-hour milestone gives five Large Safe Containers. Players who already own the Shadow Body Sleeve are not left with a duplicate at seven hours, as the reward is replaced by 150 Prime.

How to get Active Matter Twitch Drops

Before you start watching, make sure your game account is ready for the Active Matter Twitch Drops campaign. Matter.Team requires players to own an edition of Active Matter before the rewards can be received. Steam players have one extra step and must launch the game at least once before signing in and linking their account.

  1. Own Active Matter on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
  2. If you own the Steam version, launch Active Matter at least once.
  3. Use the account-linking option provided through the official Active Matter website and connect the game account you actually use.
  4. Connect that account to the Twitch account you will watch on.
  5. Open an eligible Active Matter stream showing the Twitch Drops prompt.
  6. Watch until you reach the reward milestones you want.
  7. Claim every earned Drop through your Twitch Drops inventory before the Week 1 campaign ends.

Any Active Matter stream can contribute as long as Twitch identifies it as eligible for Drops. Look for the usual “Watch to earn Drops!” message around the stream before leaving it running. Once a reward is earned and claimed, it is delivered automatically to your in-game storage.

When do Active Matter Twitch Drops start and end?

Week 1 of the Active Matter Twitch Drops campaign starts on September 18 at 15:00 UTC and ends on September 25 at 15:00 UTC. For UK players, that is 4:00 p.m. BST on both dates. The campaign is tied to the game’s September launch on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Matter.Team says the overall Drops promotion lasts for three weeks. The Week 2 and Week 3 rewards have not been revealed yet, so there is no confirmed reason to assume they will repeat the same watch times or prizes. The later reward tracks will become clear when Matter.Team publishes the next weekly details.

Do console players get the Twitch Drops?

Yes. The current campaign is available to Active Matter owners on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is different from some of the game’s older pre-launch Twitch campaigns, which were limited by the platforms available at the time.

The important part is linking the correct game account before building watch progress. If you play on more than one supported platform, Active Matter uses shared progress across platforms, so you should still make sure the account connected for Active Matter Twitch Drops is the one tied to your actual game profile.

Why are my Active Matter Twitch Drops not appearing?

If your Active Matter Twitch Drops are not appearing, first check that the reward has actually been claimed in Twitch rather than merely earned. Matter.Team specifically says each obtained reward must be claimed before the campaign ends. Reaching the watch-time milestone without pressing Claim can leave the item sitting in your Twitch inventory instead of completing the process.

Steam players should also confirm they launched the game at least once before linking. If watch progress itself is not moving, check that the stream is in the Active Matter category and is showing the Drops eligibility message. Rewards that have been successfully claimed are placed automatically in your game storage.

What happens after Week 1?

The launch promotion does not stop on September 25. Matter.Team has confirmed that Active Matter Twitch Drops continue for three weeks in total, with separate Week 2 and Week 3 rewards still to be revealed. That makes the launch track the first part of a larger campaign rather than a one-off weekend promotion.

The Week 1 Active Matter Twitch Drops take seven hours of eligible viewing to complete through the Shadow Body Sleeve milestone. Claim each reward as it unlocks rather than waiting until the final minutes of the campaign, especially if you plan to come back for the next weekly track.
