MM2 Retro Bundle is a Limited Murder Mystery 2 weapon pack released alongside the Roblox 20 anniversary update. It costs 799 Robux and contains seven retro weapons inspired by classic Murder Mystery skins from 2014, with four knives and three guns included in the pack.
The bundle is separate from the free Murder Mystery 2 Hunt quest and Knife-Dodger’s Bighead reward, so buying it does not complete the 2014 Hunt objective. If you are trying to work out the price, exactly what is included or where to buy the MM2 Retro Bundle, the current in-game Shop gives a straightforward answer.
How much is the MM2 Retro Bundle?
The MM2 Retro Bundle costs 799 Robux. Murder Mystery 2 currently labels the pack as Limited and sells it through the in-game Shop rather than through the free Hunt reward path. That 799 Robux price buys the complete seven-weapon bundle rather than one individual weapon.
For players comparing this purchase with the free anniversary content, the distinction matters. The Murder Mystery 2 The Hunt Roblox 20 quest asks you to collect 50 coins during normal rounds. Completing that objective is what moves the 2014 Hunt stage forward. The paid retro pack is an additional MM2 shop item and is not required to earn the Hunt badge.
What weapons are in the MM2 Retro Bundle?
The MM2 Retro Bundle contains seven weapons in total. Four are knives and three are guns, and each uses the name of a classic Murder Mystery weapon while filling the opposite weapon slot to the older version.
| Retro weapon | Type | Current rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Golden | Knife | Legendary |
| Shadow | Gun | Legendary |
| Cowboy | Knife | Rare |
| Laser | Knife | Rare |
| Phaser | Knife | Rare |
| Prince | Gun | Rare |
| Ghost | Gun | Uncommon |
That makes Golden Knife, Cowboy Knife, Laser Knife and Phaser Knife the four blades in the pack. Shadow Gun, Prince Gun and Ghost Gun are the three firearms. The rarities belong to the new retro versions, so they should not be assumed to have the same rarity or trading behaviour as the older Vintage items that share their names.
How to get the MM2 Retro Bundle
To get the MM2 Retro Bundle, open Murder Mystery 2 and use the game’s Shop. The current route is Shop > Weapons > Retro Bundle, where the complete pack is listed for 799 Robux while it remains available.
- Open Murder Mystery 2 on Roblox.
- Open the in-game Shop.
- Select the Weapons section.
- Find Retro Bundle.
- Check that the listed price is 799 Robux.
- Purchase the bundle while it remains available.
You do not need to complete the 50-coin Hunt quest before buying the retro pack. The paid bundle and the event progression are separate systems. If your priority is the free anniversary reward instead, complete the coin objective and then follow the Hunt hub claim process for Knife-Dodger’s Bighead.
Is the MM2 Retro Bundle Limited?
Yes. The MM2 Retro Bundle is currently marked Limited in Murder Mystery 2. That tells you the pack is not being presented as a permanent standard shop bundle, although the Limited label by itself does not provide an exact removal date.
If you want it, use the live in-game Shop as the final check before spending Robux. Prices, availability and sale status can change during an event update, so the current Shop listing is more useful than assuming the pack will remain available for the entire Roblox 20 event window.
Is the MM2 Retro Bundle the same as the Vintage Set?
No. The MM2 Retro Bundle is a new seven-item pack based on classic 2014 Murder Mystery weapon designs. It is not the same thing as owning the full historical Vintage collection. The names deliberately reference older weapons, but these are new knife or gun counterparts added through the retro pack.
For example, Golden appears here as a knife while the classic Golden weapon is associated with the gun side of the older collection. Shadow does the reverse by appearing as a gun in the new pack. That pairing idea is the point of the retro release: it gives several classic names a matching weapon type they did not previously have in the same form.
Does the Retro Bundle help with The Hunt Roblox 20?
No purchase from the paid retro pack is required to complete Murder Mystery 2’s Hunt objective. The live 2014 quest is based on collecting 50 coins during rounds. Once that badge registers, return to the Hunt hub and claim the year reward through the normal event progression.
If the free UGC is what you are after, our How to Claim UGC in The Hunt Roblox 20 guide explains the hub reward step, while the Hunt Roblox 20 UGC rewards list tracks the anniversary items. Buying the paid bundle does not replace either of those steps.
Which MM2 Retro Bundle weapons are knives and which are guns?
The quick split is simple: Golden, Cowboy, Laser and Phaser are knives. Shadow, Prince and Ghost are guns. If you are buying the bundle because you want one specific classic-inspired counterpart, check that weapon type before purchasing rather than relying only on the familiar item name.
The bundle arrived during the same Roblox 20 update that brought back classic 2014-style Murder Mystery content, so it fits the anniversary theme without being one of the free Hunt UGC rewards. It is best thought of as a paid nostalgia pack sitting alongside the separate 2014 event quest.
You can play the official Murder Mystery 2 experience on Roblox. If you are working through the anniversary timeline rather than buying weapons, our Hunt Roblox 20 quests guide and games list cover the wider progression.
