Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match starts with Season 1 on November 6. Trophies are the event currency, and you can earn rewards through the Gauntlet 1v1 Gunfight playlist or eligible challenges in Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone.
The event offers extra rewards for top-three finishers and Mastery prizes including an Operator skin, weapon blueprint, universal camo and Apex attachments. The Gauntlet mode lets you wager Trophies in successive 1v1 duels, with winners staying on to face another challenger.
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match: How to earn Trophies

Open the Events menu when Season 1 begins and select Wager Match to see the available Trophy objectives. Gauntlet 1v1 is the dedicated Multiplayer activity, while DMZ and Warzone offer their own event challenges. Completing eligible activities adds to your Trophy progress and rewards.
Gauntlet 1v1 Gunfight is a series of one-on-one battles. Wager Trophies, defeat your opponent and stay in the Gauntlet to face the next player. Stringing together wins earns the wagered reward, so consecutive victories matter more than one isolated duel.
Extra rewards for top-three placement
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match offers extra prizes for top-three finishers. Those placement rewards sit alongside the event’s normal Trophy and Mastery tracks, so you can earn progress without finishing in the top three.
Keep an eye on both your Trophy total and your placement in the event menu. Reaching a top-three position qualifies you for extra rewards; earning Trophies also moves you towards Mastery items. They are two different ways to benefit from playing the event.
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match: All announced rewards
The named Apex attachment rewards are Hyeon Auto for the Hyeon Burst Assault Rifle, converting it to full-auto fire, and Kastov 545 for the Kastov 762 Assault Rifle, which changes its ammunition to 5.45x39mm. Mastery rewards also include an Operator skin, blueprint and universal camo.
You can work on Wager Match progress outside Gauntlet through the eligible DMZ and Warzone challenges. Check the event menu for which activity contributes to the reward you’re chasing, then choose the mode you actually want to play.
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match: Hyeon Auto and Kastov 545
Two named Apex rewards add new ways to use existing assault rifles. Hyeon Auto converts the Hyeon Burst to fully automatic firing, while Kastov 545 converts the Kastov 762 to 5.45x39mm ammunition. Activision lists both as in-season Wager Match event rewards.
They are separate from the season’s free CSG-35 and Cronen Osprey guns. The Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match announcement confirms the conversion effects but does not disclose a fixed Trophy cost for each attachment. Check the event’s reward track for the exact Trophy costs.
November 6 release and event access
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match launches with Season 1 on Friday, November 6 at 5 AM GMT in Britain. It is not a reward track inside the October 29 Possession playlist or the October 30 Infected mode, and it is separate from the linear 100-tier Battle Pass.
After the November 6 update, open Events, choose Wager Match and read the active Trophy challenges. For Gauntlet, enter the 1v1 playlist, stake your Trophies and aim for a run of consecutive wins. DMZ and Warzone challenges offer other ways to take part.
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match: What should you do first?
Start with the Trophy objectives in the Events menu. Gauntlet 1v1 is the dedicated Multiplayer challenge, while eligible tasks in DMZ and Warzone offer other routes to earning Trophies.
For the other free rewards in Season 1, the Locked Down camo uses Activision account email verification, not Trophies, while the Battle Pass catch-up applies to premium buyers. Each has its own requirements.
Are Trophies real-money wagers?
Modern Warfare 4 Wager Match uses in-game Trophies rather than money. The official event notice states that no money or items with real-world value are available for participating. Trophies are an in-game event currency, and the rewards are cosmetic or gameplay items in the Call of Duty ecosystem.
The Wager Match rewards are earned through in-game Trophies. This is separate from Joint Fire, which offers squad XP bonuses, and from DMZ’s Threat Briefing Commander hunts.
