The Adopt Me Pet Releaser gives you Tickets in exchange for unwanted pets. Uplift Games replaced the old Releaser points system on February 20, 2026, removed the waiting timer and introduced a shop where you decide how to spend your Tickets. Basic Eggs cost 400 Tickets, while Crystal Eggs cost 4,000.
The reward depends on a pet’s rarity and whether it’s Neon or Mega Neon, with extra Tickets for Fly and Ride potions. Releasing a pet is permanent, so check the payout before confirming the exchange. Here’s the complete breakdown.
Where to find the Adopt Me Pet Releaser
Find Tom, who runs the Releaser. Uplift Games temporarily moved the Adopt Me Pet Releaser to the main Adoption Island in February for a couple of weeks. That was a temporary relocation, not a confirmed permanent position. Use the current in-game map or Releaser marker to locate Tom if he’s moved again.
Choose the pet you want to release and review its Ticket value before confirming. The updated system gives Tickets immediately rather than requiring you to wait for a timer. Previously saved Releaser points were converted to Tickets when the February update launched.

Adopt Me Pet Releaser Ticket values by rarity
These are the official Adopt Me Pet Releaser payouts for regular, Neon and Mega Neon pets. Every number in this table comes from the February 20 developer update.
| Rarity | Regular | Neon | Mega Neon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 100 | 2,000 | 10,000 |
| Uncommon | 125 | 2,500 | 12,500 |
| Rare | 150 | 3,000 | 15,000 |
| Ultra Rare | 300 | 6,000 | 30,000 |
| Legendary | 900 | 18,000 | 90,000 |
A regular Legendary awards 900 Tickets, a Neon Legendary awards 18,000, and a Mega Neon Legendary awards 90,000. A regular Common pet yields 100 Tickets. The payouts are based on rarity and Neon type, not player trading demand or a pet’s age.
Fly and Ride bonuses explained
The Adopt Me Pet Releaser adds 300 Tickets for a Fly pet and 150 for a Ride pet. A normal Ultra Rare starts at 300 Tickets, so a Fly Ultra Rare returns 600, a Ride Ultra Rare returns 450, and a Fly Ride Ultra Rare returns 750 Tickets when both bonuses apply.
Pet age no longer changes these rewards. Uplift Games removed different ageing payouts, meaning you don’t earn more Tickets simply because you raised a pet from Newborn to Full Grown. Be careful with valuable Fly or Ride pets: the bonus is fixed even if the pet could be desirable in a trade.
What can you buy with Releaser Tickets?
Tom’s shop includes the Basic Egg for 400 Tickets and the Crystal Egg for 4,000 Tickets. The February Adopt Me Pet Releaser update also introduced Dire Wolf for 3,000 Tickets and a limited Giant Panda for 2,000,000 Tickets. The developer announced Giant Panda would leave on March 6, so don’t assume that reward is still available.
Basic Eggs mostly hatch lower-rarity pets. The February odds included 59.75% Common and 35% Uncommon, whereas Crystal Eggs had 50% Rare, 44% Ultra Rare and 5.9% ordinary Legendary. Both also listed a special Giant Panda outcome during its limited-time period. Later updates may change the eggs’ contents, so check the current shop list rather than assuming the February special pool is permanent.

Should you release or trade a pet?
Use the Adopt Me Pet Releaser for duplicates you’re happy to lose in exchange for a known Ticket value. Four regular Common releases generate 400 Tickets, enough for one Basic Egg. That can be useful when your Backpack is full of common duplicates.
For older event pets, Neons, Mega Neons or pets with Fly and Ride potions, consider trading first. Ticket payouts are fixed, but player demand isn’t. A rare pet could be worth considerably more in a trade than its release value, and you can’t reverse the release once confirmed.
