Free Fire Ghost Doll is the support form used during The Unseen when you are eliminated but at least one teammate is still alive. Garena describes it as a creepy Doll form that can enter the Hidden Side, buff surviving teammates and use special emotes instead of leaving you as a spectator.
The feature is built for Duo and Squad play. You are not revived as a normal armed player, but you can still contribute after being eliminated, which makes an early death less punishing for the rest of the team during the event.
How to become a Free Fire Ghost Doll

To enter Free Fire Ghost Doll form, play an eligible Duo or Squad match during The Unseen and be eliminated while at least one teammate remains alive. The event then gives the eliminated player a support role rather than ending their participation immediately.
If the whole squad is out, Doll form has nobody left to support. It comes into play when one player is eliminated while somebody else on the team is still fighting.
What can a Ghost Doll do?
| Doll ability | How it helps |
|---|---|
| Enter the Hidden Side | Continue exploring the event’s alternate map layer |
| Follow teammates | Stay close to surviving squad members |
| Grant buffs | Give support effects to living teammates |
| Use special emotes | Interact with or cheer on the squad |
The Free Fire Ghost Doll keeps you useful, but it isn’t a second armed life. Garena describes following, buffing and interacting with teammates after elimination; your normal weapons don’t simply come back with Doll form.
How to help teammates after being eliminated
Once you are in Free Fire Ghost Doll form, your job is support. Stay with the surviving team and use the available buffs where they can actually help instead of drifting away from the squad.
Doll form can also enter the Hidden Side, so elimination does not lock you out of the event’s alternate map layer. Garena does not say the Doll becomes a normal combatant there; the role remains support-focused.
Can Ghost Dolls attack enemies?
Garena describes the Free Fire Ghost Doll as a way to continue interacting with the team, granting buffs and using special emotes after elimination. It is not presented as a normal armed state or a full revival.
Doll form is not a normal revival. Garena presents it as a way to keep helping after elimination, so the surviving squad members still carry the actual combat.
Can a Ghost Doll enter the Hidden Side?
Yes. Garena specifically confirms that the Free Fire Ghost Doll can enter the Hidden Side. That keeps the October event mechanic relevant even after you lose your normal character.
The Hidden Side is the darker version of the map normally accessed with Reveal Masks. Living players gain extra movement speed and jump height there and can see hidden interactable objects; Doll players can also move through this event layer as part of their support role.
Does Doll form work in Solo?
No teammate means no support target, so the Free Fire Ghost Doll mechanic is aimed at team play. Garena’s announcement describes it around an eliminated player remaining active while at least one teammate is still in the match.
If you specifically want to try Doll support, queue Duo or Squad during The Unseen rather than relying on Solo. The mechanic becomes relevant only once somebody on the team is eliminated before the last surviving member.
How long is Ghost Doll available?
The Free Fire Ghost Doll mechanic belongs to The Unseen event, which Garena’s official announcement runs from October 16 through November 1, 2026. It has not been announced as a permanent elimination system.
Use the event window to try the mechanic while it is active. If Garena later brings Doll support back in another event or keeps it beyond November 1, that would need a separate confirmation.
