Free Fire M7: How to Get It, Stats and Best Uses

Free Fire M7

Free Fire M7 is now live as part of the October 1 OB55 weapon rollout, giving Free Fire a new fully automatic assault rifle built around controllable upward recoil. Garena describes it as a high-damage, accurate option for mid-to-long-range fights, with the recoil steadily pulling the aim upward instead of relying on the usual spread behaviour.

The useful thing about Free Fire M7 is that there are several confirmed ways to find it rather than one rare event-only route. In Battle Royale it can appear as rare ground loot, in high-tier blue zones and inside arsenals, while Clash Squad sells it for 1,600 CS Cash. Garena also lists an early-October Vending Machine option for 400 FF Coins with a five-per-match purchase limit.

You can get Free Fire M7 in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad. In Battle Royale, Garena lists the M7 as rare ground loot and also places it in high-tier blue zones and arsenals. That makes blue-zone routes and arsenal access the more deliberate ways to search for one when random floor loot is not cooperating.

  • Battle Royale ground loot, listed as rare.
  • High-tier blue zones in Battle Royale.
  • Arsenals in Battle Royale.
  • Early-October Vending Machines for 400 FF Coins, with a five-per-match purchase limit.
  • Clash Squad Store for 1,600 CS Cash.

If you specifically want to practise Free Fire M7, Clash Squad is the cleanest repeatable route because the price is fixed. In Battle Royale, the Vending Machine option is also useful when it appears in the active early-October pool, while ordinary ground loot remains dependent on the match.

Garena has not published a complete public numeric damage, range and fire-rate table for Free Fire M7 in the OB55 notes, so there is no reason to invent one. The confirmed profile is more useful anyway: high damage, solid accuracy, a 30-round magazine and a recoil pattern that can be actively controlled instead of treated as random bloom.

How the Free Fire M7 Recoil Works

The defining mechanic of Free Fire M7 is the upward pull during sustained fire. If you hold the trigger, the sight climbs. Counter that movement and the rifle can stay on target through a longer burst. Garena also notes that skilled players can use the climb deliberately to move shots toward an opponent’s head rather than fighting the recoil blindly.

That makes Free Fire M7 less forgiving than a rifle you can simply point at centre mass and spray without adjustment, but it also gives the weapon a learnable pattern. Start by firing at a wall or stationary target, watch how quickly the reticle rises, then practise pulling down just enough to keep the burst grouped.

Best Uses for Free Fire M7

The M7 is best used on mid-range lanes where its damage and accuracy have time to matter. It can still fight closer targets because it is fully automatic, but the weapon is designed to reward controlled tracking rather than panic spraying. At longer ranges, shorter bursts reduce the amount of vertical correction you need between shots.

In Clash Squad, the 1,600 CS Cash price puts the M7 into the part of the economy where you should buy it when you actually intend to take medium or long sightlines. If your round plan is a hard close-range rush, the new Free Fire Skorp is a more natural fit because it is an SMG with high fire rate and armor penetration.

Free Fire M7 Compared with the Other OB55 Weapons

The M7 is the conventional all-rounder of the four October guns. The Free Fire RPK carries a much larger 75-round magazine for sustained pressure, while the Free Fire Hawk is a two-round sniper built around burst damage. The Skorp is the faster close-range option.

The shared theme is recoil control. Garena introduced the M7, Skorp and RPK with a more deliberate recoil system, so learning to manage the upward pull carries over to more than one weapon. The Hawk behaves differently but still punishes careless rapid shots because its reticle rises when the two rounds are fired quickly.

Why Free Fire M7 Was Missing Before October 1

The weapons were announced in Free Fire OB55, but Garena deliberately staged them for the next Clash Squad season rather than the September 16 Naruto launch. That is why earlier OB55 guides correctly warned players not to search for the M7 yet. The October 1 phase is now active, so that warning no longer applies.

The weapon rollout sits alongside the ongoing Naruto content. If you are also working through the event, our guides cover the Hinata or Jiraiya free reward, Nine Tails control, Sharingan Control and the Ninja Academy movement-speed buff.
