March of Giants Pandemos is unlocked through the Pioneer Program during the October playtest. Reach 1,000 Pioneer Points and Ubisoft will let you keep the Giant for future playtests and Early Access. He becomes available on 12 October, but you can’t unlock him simply by spending a Giant Token.
You have until 18 October to qualify. Wins earn points faster, but losses count too, provided you stay until the end of each PvP match. A free 20% booster from Twitch or Discord makes the target easier to reach.
March of Giants Pandemos release time in the UK
Ubisoft has scheduled March of Giants Pandemos to arrive on Monday, October 12 at 10am EDT, which is 3pm BST in the UK. Reaching Pioneer status earlier than that earns you the entitlement, but you must wait for the release time before playing the new Giant.
This is part of the Pioneer Playtest running October 7–18, not a permanent full release. Ubisoft plans more testing in late winter and spring 2027, then Early Access during summer 2027.
How to unlock March of Giants Pandemos
The March of Giants Pandemos unlock requires 1,000 Pioneer Points from completed PvP matches. Win a match to receive 100 points or finish a loss to earn 50. Once your accumulated points reach 1,000, you qualify as a Pioneer and permanently unlock Pandemos when he becomes available.
- Request and receive access to the free playtest on Steam if you haven’t already.
- Launch through Steam and sign into Ubisoft Connect.
- Play a normal PvP match all the way to the result screen.
- Continue earning Pioneer Points until you reach 1,000.
- Check your Pioneer status and available Giants after the October 12 release time.
Leaving a PvP game early does not earn points. Neither PvE nor Custom Games counts, even if you finish those matches. Stick to completed PvP when you’re working specifically towards Pandemos.

How many PvP matches do you need?
Without a booster, 10 wins or 20 losses will earn exactly 1,000 Pioneer Points. With the 20% boost active from the start, wins award 120 and losses 60, so nine wins or 17 losses are enough. A mixture counts too: just add the actual points earned after each completed match.
| Match result | Normal points | With 20% boost |
|---|---|---|
| Win | 100 | 120 |
| Loss | 50 | 60 |
| All-win minimum for 1,000 | 10 matches | 9 matches |
| All-loss minimum for 1,000 | 20 matches | 17 matches |
How to activate the free 20% points boost
There are two routes. You can watch one hour of participating March of Giants streams on Twitch, while signed into Twitch with the account linked to Ubisoft Connect, or join the official March of Giants Discord and follow the instructions in #get-pioneer-booster-here to redeem a booster code.
Both give exactly the same 20% boost, and they do not stack. Once activated, the boost lasts for the remainder of the Pioneer Playtest. If you’re just beginning the points grind, obtaining one of these bonuses first reduces how many PvP results you need for Pandemos.
Does March of Giants Pandemos carry into Early Access?
Yes. Ubisoft explicitly guarantees permanent Pandemos access for Pioneers, including future playtests and Early Access. It also says your Pioneer status and the associated Early Access Pack carry forward. That’s different from earning a normal Giant through playtest unlocks.
Ubisoft’s October 8 roadmap confirms that other Giants unlocked during this playtest generally won’t carry over. A Giant Token spent on someone else should not be confused with the Pioneer reward. Pandemos is the named permanent exception, which makes reaching 1,000 points especially valuable before October 18.

Why is March of Giants Pandemos still locked?
First check the date and whether the 10am EDT/3pm BST unlock has passed. Next confirm that your account actually reached 1,000 Pioneer Points, not merely completed a certain number of matches. Losses and boosted results can produce different totals, so use the points tally rather than match count alone.
If you have 1,000 points but can’t use the Giant after he goes live, confirm you’re signed into the same Ubisoft Connect account used to earn them. Ubisoft’s official support channels are the right place to report a missing entitlement; the developer hasn’t published a separate manual redemption code for Pandemos.
Do you need a Giant Token for Pandemos?
No. March of Giants Pandemos is earned by reaching Pioneer status with 1,000 points from completed PvP matches. Giant Tokens unlock other characters during this test; Ubisoft hasn’t announced a token purchase or paid shortcut for Pandemos.
The playtest closes on 18 October, but your March of Giants Pandemos entitlement stays on the Ubisoft Connect account that qualified. Use that account when the game returns for another test or Early Access.
