Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is the premium DOOM Event Pass melee reward built on the Katana weapon. It is a blueprint, not a new base Crucible weapon with a separate weapon level track. That is the key thing to know if you have reached the reward but cannot find a weapon called Crucible in the base melee list. The DOOM theme is applied through a Katana blueprint, while normal Katana progression remains the underlying weapon system.
The route to Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is the premium DOOM Event Pass. The current premium lane costs 1,100 COD Points, and both lanes progress from the same player XP earned across Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. Crucible sits late in the premium track, after the BFG Siren blueprint and before the Doom Count gun screen and final Doom Guy skin. No melee challenge is required to advance the event itself.
Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint: exact unlock route

Open Events and enter the DOOM Event Pass. Activate premium access, then continue earning player XP until the Crucible milestone is reached. Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint cannot be earned from the free lane because it is one of the paid crossover rewards. It is also separate from the normal Season 6 Battle Pass and from the DOOM store bundle.
If premium is purchased after some free-track progression, the event does not ask you to restart from tier 1. The same milestone bar drives both columns, so rewards attached to already-completed tiers can be collected once premium is active. You still have to reach the Crucible tier itself before Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint becomes claimable.
Where to equip Crucible after claiming it
Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint belongs under the Katana because Activision lists Crucible as a Katana Melee Weapon Blueprint. Open your melee weapon selection, choose the Katana and inspect its blueprint options. Searching the base weapon list for a standalone Crucible entry can make the reward look missing even though it has already been claimed.
The underlying weapon family also matters for progression. Challenges that care about the Katana or its broader melee category still see the blueprint through that base platform. Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint changes the themed weapon presentation, but it does not create an independent set of weapon levels like the Season 6 Arcblade or the Roc 20mm.

Crucible versus Arcblade
Season 6 has two different blade-related unlocks that are easy to confuse. Arcblade is a new base melee weapon earned through Camo Costume Party and has its own weapon progression. Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is a premium event blueprint for the existing Katana. Completing the camo event does not unlock Crucible, while buying the DOOM premium lane does not automatically give the Arcblade.
This distinction helps when planning the remaining Season 6 grind. If you want another functional base weapon, Arcblade is the relevant target. If you want the DOOM-themed Katana appearance, Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is the target and your progress is measured by the DOOM Event Pass XP bar.
Fastest practical progression toward the Crucible tier
There is no special melee multiplier for Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint. Event progress comes from normal player XP, so choose modes where you can earn consistent score and combine other goals. Objective Multiplayer can stack match score with challenges. Zombies can stack camo and weapon work. Endgame can stack assignments, and Warzone can stack contracts and match progress.
Use the Events menu as the progress authority. The live track shows how far the next milestone is, while fixed match estimates vary too much to be reliable. If the event countdown is short, prioritise Daily and Weekly Challenges that you can finish quickly rather than spending a session forcing low-value melee kills that do not directly advance Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint.
If the Crucible blueprint appears locked
Confirm three things in order: premium access is active, the event bar has reached the Crucible milestone, and the reward has been claimed. Then look under Katana blueprints. Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is not unlocked by owning Doom Slayer alone. Doom Slayer is the opening premium Operator reward, but the later blueprint still depends on event progress.
Also make sure you are not checking the separate DOOM bundle. Store-bundle ownership and event-pass progression are different systems. The reliable path to Black Ops 7 Crucible Blueprint is premium DOOM Event Pass progress, followed by equipping the earned blueprint on the Katana platform.
