Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader is the unique Roc 20mm Prestige Attachment, and it is unlocked through Weapon Prestige rather than through the DOOM Event Pass itself. First earn the Roc 20mm from the free event track. Then level the weapon to its maximum level of 30. Once max level is reached, choose to enter Weapon Prestige 1 for the Roc 20mm. That Prestige step unlocks the weapon-specific attachment permanently and resets the normal weapon level for the next progression cycle.
The effect is substantial. Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader sits in the Magazine slot and converts the Roc 20mm from its normal semi-auto cannon behaviour into full-auto fire with an explosive payload. Activision says the conversion improves handling but reduces accuracy. This is not a small magazine stat bonus, so a player deciding whether to Prestige the Roc is really deciding whether to unlock a different firing style for the weapon.
Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader: exact unlock requirement

Roc 20mm has 30 normal weapon levels. Use the weapon in supported modes until it reaches level 30, then open its Weapon Prestige option. Entering Weapon Prestige 1 unlocks Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader immediately as that weapon’s unique Prestige Attachment. Black Ops 7 does not require Weapon Prestige 2 or Prestige Master for the attachment. The first Prestige decision is the key unlock.
Weapon Prestige also resets the weapon level to 1 and relocks normal earned attachments unless they are covered by the system’s permanent-unlock rules. Camos and cosmetic customisation are retained. That reset is why it is worth checking the Roc setup you currently rely on before confirming Prestige, even though Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader itself becomes permanently available.
What the Warhead Autoloader changes
Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader changes the base Roc 20mm in three important ways. It enables full-auto fire, gives the rounds an explosive payload and improves handling. The stated trade-off is reduced accuracy. The base gun is intentionally slow, heavy and hard-kicking, so the conversion pushes it toward sustained explosive output rather than careful semi-auto shots.
The Roc only has Magazine, Rear Grip and Stock attachment categories, which makes the Magazine-slot conversion especially important. You cannot compensate with a normal Optic slot because the weapon is iron-sights only. When using Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader, the Rear Grip and Stock choices become the natural places to recover control or movement qualities that suit the faster firing behaviour.
Weapon Prestige reset and permanent unlock choice
Entering Prestige 1 does more than unlock Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader. Normal weapon levels reset, and previously earned non-optic attachments are relocked as you level again. Black Ops 7 also gives a permanent attachment unlock as part of the Prestige step. Choose that permanent unlock around the Roc configuration you expect to use most often after the reset rather than spending it automatically on the first attachment in the list.
The safest preparation is to finish any low-level camo work or testing you wanted to do with the base gun, then Prestige when you are ready to re-level. Because Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader is permanently unlocked by the Prestige entry itself, you do not need to repeat a separate conversion challenge after the reset.
How it fits Roc 20mm Zombies progression
Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader changes the Roc firing behaviour, but it does not replace the normal Zombies progression systems. Weapon levels, Military camos, Special camos and Mastery camos still use their own counters. Treat the conversion as a tool for handling and damage delivery, not as a shortcut that automatically completes a camo condition.
Treyarch also updated the Roc on September 30. The patch corrected the Pack-a-Punched reserve-ammunition problem and fixed a mismatch in the Mutilate challenge wording. Because the camo requirement itself changed after release, check the current in-game challenge text before starting a long farm. Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader remains safe to unlock through Weapon Prestige 1 regardless of which Zombies challenge you are working on.

When the conversion is worth using
Use Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader when you value faster follow-up shots and explosive pressure more than the deliberate accuracy of the base cannon. In close or medium PvE fights, the ability to keep firing can make the Roc feel far less awkward. At longer ranges, the accuracy penalty matters more, and the base semi-auto behaviour may be easier to control.
Because the attachment changes the weapon so heavily, save separate builds for the base Roc and the Prestige conversion instead of assuming one setup covers every mode. Black Ops 7 MFS Warhead Autoloader is a permanent unlock after Weapon Prestige 1, so once you have earned it you can switch between the two styles rather than treating the Prestige choice as a permanent commitment to full-auto fire.
