Valheim 1.0 Achievements List covers 55 goals across Valheim’s bosses, exploration, combat, building, crafting and survival. Patch 1.0.21 fixes five achievements affected by the difficulty setting, revises The Trophy Collector and makes a partial Frost Foundry crafting correction.
The complete achievement table remains below. Returning players may need to repeat actions the 1.0 system didn’t track in earlier saves, and Iron Gate has not promised that every previously missed achievement unlocks automatically after the October 28 patch.
Valheim 1.0 Achievements List: Patch 1.0.21 changes
Mighty Halls, Comfort Is King, The Homesteader, The Architect and The Survivor no longer have progress incorrectly tied to the current difficulty setting. The conditions for reaching their achievements still apply. The Trophy Collector now requires a Troll Trophy.
Iron Gate also fixed which player is recorded as the crafter at Frost Foundry when another player owns the network object. The crafting achievement itself still credits the network owner, however, and the developer says that remaining correction requires a future network-incompatible update.

|---|---|
| Mighty Halls, Comfort Is King, The Homesteader, The Architect, The Survivor | Difficulty-setting bug fixed |

Valheim 1.0 Achievements List: Boss Achievements
Eight entries in the Valheim 1.0 Achievements List map directly to the Forsaken progression, ending with Kall Fimbulbringer.
Other achievements then ask for all bosses under special conditions such as Hard difficulty, solo, with a friend or using only fists.
Exploration Achievements
The Valheim 1.0 Achievements List includes extreme-distance travel, long-distance sailing and even going over the edge of the world.
The Pathfinder adds an extra challenge by requiring the directional exploration goal with the map disabled.
Valheim 1.0 Achievements List: Building and Crafting
Some of the longest Valheim 1.0 Achievements List goals are The Blacksmith, The Artisan and The Carpenter.
They ask players to craft or build across the entire game rather than one biome.
Old Saves and Cheats
Old saves can earn the Valheim 1.0 Achievements List, but historical progress is not fully retroactive.
The official Valheim 1.0 FAQ confirms the tracking and cheat rules governing the Valheim 1.0 Achievements List; the exact 55-entry table is checked against the live 1.0 data.
How to Use the Achievement List on an Old Save
Load the old character normally and check which goals begin tracking after the update. If an obvious historical milestone is missing, repeat the relevant action rather than assuming the save is broken.
For a clean completion run, avoid cheat commands and keep spawned cheat-marked items out of the character’s inventory.
Hard-Difficulty and Completion Goals
Several of the hardest entries go beyond simply finishing the bosses. The Master Hunter requires the creature roster on Hard, while The Toughest Viking asks for every boss on Hard.
Crafting and collection also have long tails: every weapon, every craftable item, every build piece, all trophies, all fish and all edible items each have their own completion-style goal.
For a current Valheim 1.0 Achievements List reference, use the live 1.0 rules above rather than older Early Access assumptions.
Valheim 1.0 Achievements List: Completion Tips
The Valheim 1.0 Achievements List mixes one-off milestones with cumulative statistics, so it is more efficient to let gathering, cooking, farming, sailing and building totals rise naturally while working through normal progression.
For a full Valheim 1.0 Achievements List run, save the specialised Hard-difficulty, fists-only and completionist goals until the character has the equipment and supplies to attempt them deliberately.
For players using Valheim 1.0 Achievements List after the 1.0 launch, the information above separates confirmed Iron Gate rules from details checked against the live build.

Cheated-item flags and the earlier 1.0.20 correction
A separate bug incorrectly marked some legitimately obtained items as cheated after Valheim 1.0. Iron Gate acknowledged it in September, then Patch 1.0.20 on 15 October 2026 reset the cheated flag on items and build pieces from previous versions. Guidance saying that particular reset is still awaiting an upcoming patch is out of date.
That correction is separate from using developer commands to generate items. The game’s normal achievement eligibility rules still apply to genuinely cheat-spawned content. If an achievement isn’t unlocking, check the actual goal and the latest game version before altering saves or discarding legitimate equipment.
For current fixes to Valheim 1.0 Achievements List, Patch 1.0.21 also removes incorrect difficulty-setting restrictions on five goals and changes The Trophy Collector’s requirements. Frost Foundry’s multiplayer crafting achievement remains only partially fixed because it still credits the network owner.
