Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket costs $4.99 and increases your Raid Pass total to 14, boosts Rare Candy XL chances and adds 5,000 XP plus 5,000 Stardust to Super Mega Raid Battle rewards during the September 19 event.
What Is Included With the Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket?
The paid ticket activates four bonuses from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on September 19. The biggest difference compared with the free event is the number of Raid Passes available from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
| Bonus | Free event | Paid ticket |
|---|---|---|
| Raid Passes from Gyms | Up to 6 | Up to 14 |
| Rare Candy XL | Normal chance | Increased chance from Raid Battles |
| Bonus XP | None listed | +5,000 per Super Mega Raid Battle |
| Bonus Stardust | None listed | +5,000 per Super Mega Raid Battle |
| Boosted Shiny Staraptor chance | Yes | Yes |
The ticket does not unlock a separate raid boss or exclusive Shiny. Mega Staraptor, the boosted Shiny chance and Super Max progression are all part of the free event.
Damage taken when Staraptor is hit by each type: Weak to Resists Immune to Based on Normal / Flying typing. Abilities may modify these matchups.
How Many Extra Raid Passes Do You Get?
The ticket raises the Gym Photo Disc Raid Pass total from up to six on the free event to up to 14. That is eight additional passes if you can use the full allowance.
For players comparing the Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket with the free event, those extra passes are the clearest part of the ticket’s value because they directly increase the number of Mega Staraptor encounters and Mega Energy opportunities.
How Much Bonus XP and Stardust Can You Earn?
Each Super Mega Raid Battle completed while the ticket bonuses are active awards an additional 5,000 XP and 5,000 Stardust.
If you complete ten eligible raids, that adds up to 50,000 extra XP and 50,000 extra Stardust from the ticket bonuses alone.
Does the Ticket Increase Shiny Staraptor Odds?
No separate Shiny bonus is listed for the paid ticket. The increased Shiny Staraptor chance is already part of the free Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day.
The ticket gives you more raid opportunities through extra passes, which means more Shiny checks, but it does not list a higher Shiny rate than the free event.
Does the Ticket Increase Rare Candy XL?
Yes. The Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket includes an increased chance to receive Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles during the event window.
That makes the ticket more attractive if you already value Rare Candy XL and intend to spend the full three hours raiding.

Can You Gift the Ticket?
Yes. The Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket can be gifted to Pokémon GO friends once you have reached Great Friends or higher with them.
Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins. The in-game ticket remains available until September 19 at 5:00 p.m. local time.
What Is the Web Store Ultra Ticket Box?
The Pokémon GO Web Store offers a Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket Ultra Ticket Box for the same $4.99 price. It includes the event ticket plus one bonus Premium Battle Pass at no additional cost.
If you already know you are buying the Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket and have access to the Web Store, that version offers slightly more value than purchasing the ticket alone in-game.
Is the Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket Worth It?
The Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day Ticket makes the most sense if you are confident you can complete a large number of Super Mega Raids during the three-hour event. The extra Raid Passes, XP and Stardust all scale with how actively you raid.
If you only want Mega Staraptor for the Pokédex, a few Shiny checks or enough Mega Energy for one Mega Evolution, the free event is already generous with up to six Raid Passes and the same boosted Shiny chance.
If you plan to raid for most of the event, chase Super Max progress and farm Rare Candy XL, the paid ticket becomes much easier to justify.
