Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items currently include the Coach RePurposed Capsule. EA still lists it in the Free section on October 28, 2026, but its advertised free claim period ends today. The four-piece clothing collection launched on July 28, and EA has not given an exact closing time.
If you’re looking for something to download now, check the Free section in your game’s Marketplace. The website still showing the capsule is useful, but you’ll need to check that the free claim option is available on your platform.
Current Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items on October 28

As of October 28, EA’s public Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items listing contains one free Maxis product: Coach RePurposed Capsule. It adds four Create a Sim clothing items: a trench-coat outfit, denim skirt, cardigan and rugby shirt.
| Free item shown | Contents | Announced claim dates |
|---|---|---|
| Coach RePurposed Capsule | Four Create a Sim clothing pieces | July 28 through October 28, 2026 |
The capsule supports PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You need the free Sims 4 base game and its updates, but no paid expansion pack. This was a separate Marketplace release on July 28, not part of the July 21 patch.
For a closer look at each item and the download steps, see our Coach RePurposed Capsule guide.
When does the Coach free Marketplace offer end?
EA says the Coach promotion runs through October 28, 2026. It has not published a UK expiry time or a particular Marketplace reset hour, so there is no confirmed countdown to give.
After the deadline, look at the capsule’s price and claim button in the live Marketplace before treating it as unavailable. EA has not confirmed an extension, and a product page can remain visible after an offer changes.
How to claim Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items

To claim Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items, start with the Free category and make sure the item still costs nothing. PC and Mac players can use the game, EA app or EA’s web Marketplace. Console players can browse online, but must complete Marketplace transactions in the game.
- Launch The Sims 4 and select Marketplace on the Main Menu.
- Open the Free category and choose the listed item.
- Check that the product still has a free claim or download option.
- Complete the claim, then install it if a separate download is offered.
- Find the content in Create a Sim or Build Mode, depending on what the item contains.
You can also open the Marketplace from Live Mode, Build Mode and Create a Sim. You’ll need an internet connection to browse and claim items. No Moola purchase is required for free downloads; Moola is used for selected paid content.
If the capsule is missing or no longer marked Free, check its product listing. The advertised October 28 deadline doesn’t tell us the precise hour that the claim button disappears.
What happened to the old Free Maker Drops?
The earlier Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items programme included six weeks of Free Maker Drops from June 11 to July 16. Each creator-made giveaway could be claimed for four weeks, and the final claim period ended on August 13, 2026.
Early drops included Sit Next to Me and Velvet Bow Heels, whose claim periods ended July 9. For the full schedule, see our Free Maker Drops guide. Those offers are separate from the Coach capsule.
EA has not announced another weekly Free Maker Drops programme. Check the live Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items section for new offers rather than relying on the old summer schedule.
Are free base-game updates the same as Marketplace freebies?
No. The October 27 game update added free Elder hairstyles, clothing and furniture directly to the base game. Those items don’t require a separate Marketplace claim. Coach RePurposed Capsule does, and its free offer has a deadline.
The Marketplace also contains paid Maker Packs, Kits and expansions. A discounted pack is not a free download. If you’re after Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items, check for a zero-cost claim before confirming anything.
Will more Sims 4 Marketplace Free Items arrive?
EA has not confirmed a new free-drop schedule or an extension to the Coach offer. Any new promotion should appear in the Marketplace Free category with its own terms and dates.
At the October 28 check, Coach remains listed as Free on EA’s public Marketplace. Its advertised claim period ends today. Whether the free checkout works after that date needs confirmation from the live Marketplace.
